If you don't mind me using your photo as an example, I can show you how much of a difference something as easy as changing your white balance can be in making your photo look more vibrant.
In this version, all I did was just adjust the white balance of your photo to make the colors a little more accurate and less greyed out. It's a basic option in most cameras and most people usually don't pay it mind and leave on auto for default. The WB setting I used for this is one meant for flash in concert settings.
I am unsure if Android phones have it in but for an iPhone, your white balance is automatic and is replaced by color filters. Most 3rd party camera apps allow you to at least adjust the white balance for your photo.
This version is the same as above with some slight adjustments made to give the scene a little bit more depth. It's a quick job and it might be a little too saturated for some people's taste but it's an example to show how much a difference subtle post processing can do to a photo. What I did with this is adjust the brightness and shadows as well as adjust some contrast so that the scene has less grey and more colour.
