Rising Thunder

Hey guys, I don't know if any of you were at EVO this past weekend but the company that my brother designs for (Radiant) released a new fighting game essentially created by Seth Kilian (of street fighter 4/capcom fame) called Rising Thunder. It's free to play and the technical alpha is out now!
This is the Teaser Trailer http://youtu.be/_z2I3G-yJjY
This is a review from the talking heads at IGN http://youtu.be/KyGFtVu_wfM
This is an awesome combo video a guy made http://youtu.be/9krTMEIQTbY
If this looks interesting. Go to risingthunder.com and sign up to access the game at the technical alpha stage.
Sorry for the plug, but it's my brother's project and getting some pretty legit reviews so I figured you guys might want early access!

Thanks guys. Seems to be getting mostly positive feedback so far but they are going to keep building on it. Refining gameplay and design, adding new characters, all that stuff
I got two spare codes for those that want them. Grab em while they're up.

How are people liking the game? I'm on the road for work and all I have is my iPad so I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet!
It's pretty barebones, but it's not a bad thing. No combos, at least none that involve quarter circle and whatnot. Graphics aren't bad. It's about as alpha as it can be, but it's enjoyable. I'm excited to see how they build to it.

I guess you didn't watch the combo video in the first post?

Like I said, not in the typical "quarter circle" kind of way. Chaining hits is the big thing. I'm not much of a fighting game player, so that immediately appealed to me.
EDIT: unless I'm missing something about the kinetic movement system, which I'm sure I am.

If you enable kinetic advance instead of kinetic deflect, you can cancel pretty much every move with kinetic advance and keep chains and combos going. If you watch that combo video in my original post, you'll notice the player kind of leave a blue outline of himself behind. These are kinetic advance cancels. Use up half of your kinetic meter and allow you to get really creative with the combos you're doing.
Also, you can string together lots of juggling, every character has a designated "launcher" which allows you to start juggling for free

Gotcha, thanks. But there isn't any crazy stick movements required to activate it, is there?

No.
The entire point of the game seems to be attempting to do away with traditional fighting game motions by assigning special moves to key presses instead
Kinetic Advance is basically FADC from SF4 without the double tap.(which I think is good. The double tap was so unnecessary)

That's what I thought. And I love that aspect.
