Rush Hour is back - but this time, the popular action franchise is making the leap to television.

CBS has released first-look pictures from the new TV show, based on the Jackie Chan / Chris Tucker buddy cop series.

Jon Foo and Justin Hires will replace Chan and Tucker in the roles of Lee and Carter - two mismatched cops from Hong Kong and LA.

The Rush Hour series is being held back til midseason by CBS, meaning it will launch in early-to-mid 2016.
