By bone Go To PostI don't get why he's making this decision so early. He could win a treble at Neverkusen this year. There'd be no reason to stay and he can have Madrid, Liverpool, and Bayern go in a bidding war for him in the summer.
Has at least another year in the job which will basically be a free hit - no one will expect him to win the league again, whereas if he goes to Madrid or Bayern there’ll be that expectation.
Wondering if he’s positioning himself to be the man after the man after Klopp.
edit: or takes over from a retiring Don Carlo
By FortuneFaded Go To PostFuck. Collins passes it straight to Huddersfield player and they score. 2-1.3-1
By Willkiller Go To PostThe reason would be to see what he can do with the team in the CL. A deep run with Leverkusen would be legendary and likely not an opportunity he’ll have again, with that size club as he’s clearly destined for the top from here on out.Meh, the club has already been to a CL Final this century. Nobody will care unless they actually win it all. Everyone loves to shit on players/managers/clubs that don't win anything and this wouldn't be any different.

The whole match, Wright kept on wanting to cut in and shoot with his right foot regardless of how many are in front of him. Finally decides to go with his left and scores.

Absolutely can see him taking over from Carlo. Liverpool fans love him but Real is in his home country and he was there far longer than he was with us.
By Hixx Go To PostJobe was unbelievable today. He's so good up front, idk why he's so obsessed with being a 10.
Has to follow his bro. Tuff act. I know the feeling.

Xabi Alonso is a winner that has played for 3 of the biggest clubs in the world. He's the son of a footballer. His entire life has been filled with expectations. He wouldn't be where he is now if he didn't have ambition. There has to be something deeper than "eh I just want to chill for a year and waste time before hitting the pressure cooker jobs".
Yea I reckon he’d like to see how his team can do in the CL. The guy will take a big job afterwards regardless.

Till he goes to City and have to settle for Raúl
I just want a manager who won't give up on Darwin innit
Bit of a dearth of managers around who I'd trust to just keep us steady in the top 4, Alonso was pretty much the perfect candidate. Amorim seems like the next best thing, but I base that entirely on Martin' posts about Sporting and their odd big scoreline rather than ever actually watching them.

Even Martins doesn't watch Sporting, he just posts GYOKERES!!! every 3 to 4 days and we believe him.

This Di Maria penalty was amazing, so badly taken.

"Telegraph Sport understands the release clause in Amorim’s contract, that can be triggered at the end of this season, is €15 million.
The clause, agreed with Sporting Lisbon, drops to €10m (£8.5m) in the summer of 2025 – and its existence means it will be easier for Liverpool to agree a deal with the Portuguese club should they eventually decide to make a move for the highly rated 39-year-old."

Amorim seems like a bit of a strange fit for this Liverpool squad, but I guess Alonso would have been too

By FootbalIFan Go To PostI went to the beach and 4 dolphins decided to join in on my swimNice. Last time I was in Galápagos a group of dolphins followed our boat and started jumping out the water doing front flips. Rode the back of a huge sea turtle once I jumped in the water. They were everywhere, nurse sharks resting at the bottom in caves too.
An incredible experience
PAULINHO!!!! Fantastic work from Trincão, perfect cross and Paulinho heads it in to make it 1-1.
Estrela's lead only lasted 7 minutes.

This fucker only posts when Sporting score, no wonder it seems like they win every game. Bring me Tuchel.

NUNO SANTOS!!!! Again, fantastic play from Trincão, dribbles past a couple of players, finesse shot into the left bottom corner, keeper saves it but Nuno Santos is first to the rebound and slots it home.
1-2, comeback done

Pretty certain we won't go down now so can watch the scramble in peace. First time we've finished a season with nothing to play for in a long, long time. 12-13 years.
In an ideal world Birmingham and Stoke take the two relegation slots. Be funny to see Birmingham go down. Stoke I just don't like.

And done. Very important 3 points on a tricky away match with half of the usual starting 11 not starting due to injury or because they were part of the 7 players that were on 4 yellow cards and could miss Benfica next weekend if they saw a yellow.
Job done, no one got injured and not a single player that was at risk of suspension got a yellow.
Man of the match was Trincão, he was excellent.
