I am gonna be travelling to LA for a week at Christmas to watch some basketball.
I know we have a lot of LA residents and people who have visited, so was wondering what you guys recommend to do, eat, and where are some good places to stay.
Also, how is public transportation? i can’t drive so taxis and public transportation are my only options.

On the map, it looked like a 3 minute walk. When you put in walking directions, it was 20 minutes because you had to walk up, turn left, then go back down.

The new lines are open so you should look into staying in Little Tokyo. LA Live area is fucking boring as fuck. All the good shit is near Little Tokyo, Arts District, and that area of DT.

Only sporting regret I have is not seeing Kobe play.
La proper kinda sucks and greater LA is super spread out so driving is kinda necessary. Griffith observatory isn’t too far. It’s rad and Kib also liked it. If you’re stuck with Uber you can’t like cruise PCH, which I normally a suggest. You can also do the Getty. It’s a really neat places
