After not facing any sort of competition in the Athlete centric App market place, The Lebron James App will face an unexpected rival. For those who are unaware, The Lebron James App is exclusive to The Samsung Galaxy family of smart phones and gives you an exclusive peek into everything Lebron James as he gingerly skips to the NBA Finals. Today Nokia announced that Samsung can quote, "Fuck right off if it thinks that they're gonna be the only ones to enter this new frontier of dick-riding all by their lonesome. Ya heard?" Nokia seeks to directly compete against Samsung in this confusing and unnecessary app space with the unveiling of The Paul Pierce Widget. "It's a lot like that Lebron James thing or whatever." Pierce said in the locker room after his clutch series of fouls against Toronto guard Kyle Lowry in their decisive game 7 win. The James App lets you see his highlights, stats, look at the upcoming Heat schedule as well as other playoff teams' upcoming games. It also gives you some personal insight, like what James is wearing to the game, what shoes he's wearing on the court, what music he's enjoying and some moments with his family. The Paul Pierce widget will let you replay PIerce highlights if he has any, it will give you a behind the scenes look at Pierce practicing hurting himself, an intimate look at Pierce's march to a second round exit plus a look at what other teams' conference finals schedule look like. The conference finals schedule section of the widget will come in useful to those who are interested in following NBA games beyond that of The Brooklyn Nets. But for those who can't get enough Paul Pierce there will also be a live RSS feed updating Pierce's drink orders from wherever Pierce decides to vacation once his season is over in roughly a week from now. You can get the widget exclusively on The Nokia 9500 Communicator, when asked why they felt the need to have exclusive software on a phone released in 2004 a Nokia PR rep told me, "It's the best we could do on such short notice, I mean, did you see the game? Lowry got fouled like....multiple times. Initially we all thought for sure The Raptors would be in the second round without having to go to a game 7 and the most interesting person on their team is the mascot. So naturally when the refs gave the series to The Nets, we scrambled and did the best we could with what we were working with."
