it's okay, as long as the majority of people experience as much content as possible, I don't want people to be stuck this early in the run (even though technically you don't really have to kill anyone to progress). I just hope they never touch the optional fights, they're optional after all.

Tbf, I did crazier things for two quests.
I'm dying. Dude's been fighting Godskin Apostle for over 2h and doing it wrong for the most part. Half the time he dies to the guy right before the boss, an enemy he could easy just run past. It's fun watching someone lose his mind in real time.
What's funnier still is I've seen what comes down the road in respect of that boss and his associate.
I've fought about 4 foreskin apostles as field enemies before I ever actually encountered one as a boss lol

He never goes there afaik. I think you can talk to the giant blacksmith dude (Iji?) and he'll give you an idea where Blaidd is.

I do like that you can miss steps in a quest but still complete it. I certainly missed most of the stuff with wolfman because the first time we met was before I pieced radahn up

I've just gotten back on the story path again and started to properly explore Altus Plateau. This place is genuinely more unsettling than Caelid. The atmosphere of this place is creepy as fuck.
