By n8 dogg Go To PostRennala down. Took three goes
I had stunlocked her for the entire fight with my big club, R1, R1, jumping R2 over and over lmao.
This godscunt apostle in the divine tower. i hated fighting him in midsommar village and i hate it even more here.
End game boss spoilers don’t look

That many parries for a riposte is unreasonable. I will not git gud for this fight. I will continue spamming OP weapon arts

Ahaha that's literally Sekiro! You're basically breaking her 'posture' meter in Sekiro terms. But the other solo methods are chain staggers and/or applying Frost since she's weak to it
there's really no wrong way, whatever works for you. Try it solo next time though, its loads of fun to try and figure her out based on your playstyle. The mimic tear just kills the encounters

By HonestVapes Go To PostWhat area are you fighting him? The one in Caelid was a cunt.Volcano Manor. I think it might be a good idea to switch to a faster weapon to land some hits in-between his jabs and pokes.
Just stick to him like glue, hell only ever do the shield bash or the ground stomp and you can wail on him.

I tried solo, I tried Black Knife Tiche/Mimic Tear, I tried being summoned by others, I tried summoning randoms. I went through 30 great runes on attempts.
The only success I saw was summoning my mate with a bleed build, cornering Malenia and spamming Hoarfrost Stomp. I’m not proud of this. I just really didn’t enjoy the fight.
The health regen and her normal attacks aren’t an issue. Her one move that can absolutely obliterate 1900HP through heavy armour if I miss a single dodge just wasn’t fun gameplay for me.
On the bright side, I at least can’t call this the easiest Souls game after that fight.
yeah I get you Vapes. It demands near perfection or it's an instant punish, Roguelike in boss form lmao, I needed one of those maan, most were super fun and hollywood but I missed this
By Zabojnik Go To PostWhy has the Serpent-Hunter have to be INCREDIBLE only against the big snek.Best VA ever. Chills

I’ll get less salty over it with time, I promise.
Anyone else feel the similarities in Elden Ring and Dark Souls II? I feel like overall ER does most of the things that DSII was stated to do (pre-release) but never achieved in the release build.
By inky Go To PostI'm starting to believe I can't trust these npcsOnly one way to make sure. *looks at Yurt, creepy smile*
Valiant Gargoyles down. Kamehameha'd the first one before the second one had a chance to get too involved. Individually, they weren't so tough.
Just slept in a coffin and woke up in a totally new area. How many layers does this games map have jesus.

The map is basically this:

immediately went back to the roundtable and disabled that shit

Still using the two handed Bloodhounds Fang as my main weapon. It's damage, special attack and bleed capability makes it an excellent sword.
But also started to dabble in dual wielding scimitars. I've duplicated the Bloody Slash Ashes if War so both scimitars have the bleed ability. It's damage is nothing special, but I'm upgrading with regular smithing stones quite regularly. The more it's upgraded the quicker the bleed bar builds every attack. Gotten to the stage where two combos triggers the bar. Attack speed is excellent so I'm just scything through enemies with it.
Love this game.

The STR/DEX scaling on that is absurd. It's attack with my build is over 200 points higher than the +18 Omen Cleaver.

The bloodhound step ash of war is very cool though. Bloodborne af
getting annoyed with missed inputs from the game. Especially on the DS2 infinite stamina infinite tracking designer bosses. Just let me actually play pls.
Game loves to ignore a roll if you press circle for a fraction too long but still doesn't even start a sprint anyway. 300iq
Are certain weapon types supposed to take longer than others to switch through?
Making it a bit of a pain in the arse to quickly change to my Seal during fights. Coming off of playing Bloodborne it feels bad.

Friendship ended with sword of night and flame, now wing of astel is my new best friend. Seriously though, while SoNaF L2+R1/R2 is godlike, its basic moveset is a bit boring.
Leyendell is definitely one of my favorite FS levels. Up there with Yharnam, Boleteria & shrine of storms(2020 remake).
Did the Academy (I don't know how to get to the far side roofs tho. Maybe start bottom somewhere?), the Manor, the Siofra River and apparently started a couple of long term quests. This Fire sword reqs tho.
Also, madness wtf is this...

I've experienced some input eating too its crazy, thats definitely a bug.
If you encountered Madness where I think you did read every item you loot over there. Some cool reveals

so i did stormville, radahan, academy and capital, 70 hours in and just reached mountain top of the giants. still feel underpowered at level 90 lol.
By DiPro Go To Postso i did stormville, radahan, academy and capital, 70 hours in and just reached mountain top of the giants. still feel underpowered at level 90 lol.A bit early, I'd suggets doing Volcano Manor first. Its the land ruled by Rykard unless you wanna skip him. You can access it through multiple routes but the most fun is through Atlus
there's a hidden legacy dungeon in the capital btw lol. Explore it thoroughly

Awesome!!
And I KNOW lmaooooo blew my fucking mind
If you want a hint an npc at the roundtable will hint to its location. there's a boss too so don't think you're done with it until you fight it

I hope nobody ignores or misses it.
everyone you see in the opening cinematic has a quest. If you find them...

Only level 90 after 70 hours sounds low af compared to my progression. I’m at 80 hours and level 140
Have you ever considered that perhaps Dipro has been doing some sight-seeing and has also been trying to broker peace treaties with the bosses?
nah he's about right for the area's he's been to.
lmao seriously, my friend is still fucking around in Caelid after 70 hours
