Four hours into 13 Sentinels.
Best parts so far are the strategy portions, surprisingly dynamic and visually stimulating considering how simple they are and how basic they look.
The story is digging deeper and deeper into the sci fi mistery, but nothing has really grabbed my attention so far. It’s all very superficial so far, and the characters are paper thin, which bothers because the game is making me read all this stuff, and see all these interactions between characters, and all of it just seem to serve an upcoming plot twist that is starting to become kind of obvious already.
Story heavy games should focus more on connecting the player to the characters during the first hours. Vanillaware is going about it the opposite way, which is the wrong way imo. These characters seem to be in the possession of information that isn’t available to the player, and so I feel very disconnected from them. The glaciar pace at which the game introduces these characters is not very welcoming either.
More as it develops.

don't even put it in spoilertags because it's definitely wrong.
Ok, my first guess is that this is all a simulation stuck in some sort of loop. The characters don’t know they are in a simulation. The cliches and tropes, and references to other works of media allude to a simulation that remixes past works of cultural entertainment and whatever, making the simulation feel real to us the players who buy into it because we’ve seen this before and so it’s real to us.
Now my hope is that this is a hidden sequel to Evangelion, and the characters and situations are all in the mind of a boy that has achieved singularity.

Nintendo fans been begging for KH for decades now, they cried when Sora was announced for smash. This is what they deserve.

By Yurtlicious Go To Postoh man I haven't tried the new expansion yet, maybe in the future.
I haven't looked into the DLC yet. Not even sure if it's available on iOS. Base game is fantastic so far though. Still prefer Hades combat, but this is up there.
Respect for Microsoft for reducing the prices of GP in less wealthy countries
I know few people who will be happy in the price reduction in The Middle East
