Flamelurker and Old Hero done back to back. 😏
Straight onto Red Dragon. It takes quite a few hits for me to destroy the pillars 😬
Also I turned my upgraded Winged Spear into a Scraping Spear but I'm 3 levels away from having enough dex to use it.

apparently people don't like the new pokemon main characters(can't you customize them?). imo it's the best they've looked in game and in artwork

some are better some are worse but they look unique for the most part. but yeah doesn't really matter if you can customize hair, skin color and outfit from the get go.

They call it Chadley's Law.
That DF review of Elden Ring PC is rough. Just In time shader compilation that causes the game to hitch every time you see a new effect? Please fix before I play

the problem is that the things that make ER special are not easily reproducible.
but we can hope the west will manage to make one good open world game sometimes.

Reading devs takes on other games is sure interesting
What do you think Yurt? What’s the lesson there?
And is there anything these other bland open world games like Witcher 3 do that From could learn from?

Stay the course and let your work find its audience

I actually think the Witcher’s world is brilliant. Feels alive and organic.

And I like TW3 man
I personally would like a game with no progression whatsoever. Your character skills are complete at the beginning of the game, the only thing that changes are choices. That’s the journey. Learning about yourself, so to speak.
If anything it should be the enemies/world that progress and adapt.

Another game that I will never play, but still want to own the book for and read a bunch of times imagining what could be...
This feels like the second time Horizon gets upstaged by another open world game. Unlucky really

I’d say there’s some parallels to draw between Elden Ring and BOTW too. Both being fairly different from the standard approach to open world games.
Ultimately, Guerrilla played themselves.
