Done with Dying Light 2, it took us 45 hours or so. Overall a disappointing sequel.
The story was mid throughout and basically fell off a cliff during the last part. I wasn't expecting greatness, not after they threw out whatever Avellone's contributions to it were supposed to be, but still. Rosario Dawson's character is one of the few bright(-ish) spots in the narrative strata.
The parkour side of it was alright, climbing skyscrapers to get to military drops was by far the most fun part, that and the glider.
I was expecting way more when it came to city traversal. A good fifty percent of all the parkour skills you get - sliding, 180° jumping and even wallrunning - are so contextual that they end up being almost completely useless when moving from point A to B. They might come into play when you're chasing gold medals doing parkour challenges, but the rewards just weren't worth it.
Still a somewhat decent coop experience, I guess, but I think we're done with the series.

I’m sure MS is eager to put Gamepass on a third party app that runs on their OS, and give Valve a cut from subs and MTX.
Reached one of the endings of Infernax, the good one, but there are 5 other endings and according to the Demonoloy Compendium, I've only seen 48% of the demons in the game despite doing all the side quests that I had available, there was one castle that was locked but I think it only opens if I make certain choices in the sequences where you have to choose between 2 actions and the "good" choice isn't always clear.
Read that there was a secret if you tried the Konami code in the title menu so I decided to give it a go and it's brilliant.
Instead of starting with a knight with a mace and shield, you play as Maxime Gunn, a Contra like soldier, and with 30 lives.With that and the jetpack cheat I got from my ending, game turns so much easier.
Going to do a Ultimate Good run and might give the evil side a chance after.

Only glaring negative so far after 40 hours is I don't even know how they made the climbing so much worse than before. You can climb so many more surfaces but the act of climbing might be the worst implementation ive come across in a triple A game. It's not something that bothers me actively but when ever you're climbing something outside of a quest, it can get really clunky.
You can't tell a climbable vs a non-climbable surface apart without pulsing it first either. Such a strange choice

Yeah, I keep getting caught on bits of rock in between the grip points, or it just won't recognise one being there even when I'm right next to it. Beginning to see how people are getting annoyed with Aloy telling you where to go before you've even had the chance to figure it out yourself.

Finally getting used to the combat changes. Upgrading shit and spending skill points helped of course. Didn't realize you could only use the resonator on humans at first. Also gyro aiming/turning off motion blur = godsend
