If you need a notepad to play a video game something is wrong with you or that’s a terribly developed game.
Open world business is funny, fill a map with nothing but monsters, no characters to connect with, no stories, no puzzles basically nothing other than fighting monsters by the order you want and somehow it becomes this game with an incredible amount of freedom and open world design.

By Yurtlicious Go To PostTrash lmaoKotalol been trash for a long time.
On the topic of open world, I usually hate them. Give me motivation to go explore your world, don't just vomit busy work over the map.
It's why Yw3 and Horizon jive so well with me and RDR2 and GTA and ubitrash grate on me.

maybe he can beat their brains over so much jizzing about dmc 5's combat that they'll actually make a game with good combat for once.

Asking for 12GB of system RAM remains weird to me, but if your PC isn’t quite up these standards, know that you have more wiggle room than such a high minimum spec would suggest. Admittedly, when I tested the GTX 1060 it was a 6GB version – not 3GB – and it was installed in my main test rig, which has a very much above-spec Intel Core i5-11600K and 16GB of RAM. But given this combination averaged 49fps at 1080p using the Maximum graphics preset, having less memory or an older GPU shouldn’t preclude you from clearing the 30fps mark at this resolution. Especially if you drop the quality: the High preset averageD 55fps, while Medium managed 59fps and Low pushed out a near-constant 60fps.
The 6GB GTX 1060 can even handle Elden Ring at 1440p, with performance averages ranging from 37fps at Maximum to 57fps on Low. And having a getter GPU isn’t entirely a waste: when I used an RTX 3070 in place of the GTX 1060, Elden Ring averaged a solid 60fps at 1440p and a perfectly playable 51fps at 4K. Again, that's on the Maximum preset.
Still…a 60fps cap? In this day and age? And while it’s not strictly performance-releated, any dedicated mouse and keyboard users can expect to trip up on Elden Ring’s console-leaning interface. Xbox controller buttons adorn the menu and inventory UIs at all times, and what should be basic keyboard input replacements – like Escape taking you back to a previous menu screen – aren’t in place. The wonky workaround, in this specific example, is to right-click to open an additional context menu, then left-click the “Back” option. Which, of course, has a big red controller button icon next to it. Bleh.
I've also experienced occasional frame rate drops and stutters at seemingly random spots around the overworld. These will apparently get smoothed out in a "day one" patch, though since we haven't had access to this pre-release I can't yet verify the fix.
But have to wait for digital foundry.

I'm going to wait until I see some Slaent opinions on the PC port but if it's as good as Sekiro, I'll be content.

Idk, hard to tell. If they get someone else to quickly release a game under the fifa name, a lot of people will buy that instead i think. Don't forget how many fifa players aren't the typical gamers.
By cRrusheR Go To PostIt’s just the name Daz, they have to negotiate League, clubs, players, separately I think.Yeah, FIFA's license only covers the name and the World Cup.
All other licenses are independent of FIFA and EA still has those.
That's why FIFA's demands are baffling, having the brand associated with the video game as been more rewarding for FIFA than for EA.
Unless Take Two decides to get into the genre, no one else has the ability to pay anything close what FIFA is asking.
The 2.5B$ that FIFA is asking is more than Konami ever spent on the whole Winning Eleven/PES/ISS series combined.
