A common question I'm seeing online
"Why did Dom say that the mastermind looked nothing like Real Elliot's I.D picture? His mom and Angela's parents recognized him as the real Elliot?
We've never seen what the Real Elliot looks like. We now know he doesn't look anything like Rami Malek/The Mastermind.
The Mastermind looked like Real Elliot at first because at that point in the episode, he still believed himself to be the only/real Elliot and the world responded as such.
After he "kills" the Real Elliot, The Mastermind began to dissociate and the everything began unravelling.
------
Also people don't seem to get the Theater scene despite how obvious it is. It's the personalities showing the Real Elliot what has happened in the time since he's been locked in his safe place. I'm not sure how more obvious that scene could have been with the film projector literally being memories than transition into a shot of the Real Elliot's Pupil lol.
But man, what a fucking perfect finale to a damn near perfect show. Sam Esmail fucking nailed it.

This thread is just sy talking to himself.
What a ride. Someday I'm gonna rewatch the whole thing from the beginning.

I' feel like they are meant to look the same. Dom doesn't say this "this person looks nothing like you" she says "this person is nothing like you.'
I took it to mean you are not Elliot, which we then discovered was the case. Dom's not really commenting on looks, but is there to comment on the personalities.
I'm so glad this ended well.
I loved S1, 2 and 3 were good but I almost felt it was slipping, but fuck me S4 was something else
