By Arnie Go To PostHow many central midfielders do Juventus need? In the last 12 months they’ve picked up Can, Ramsey and now Rabiot. I get that they’re free, but you still have to pay them a lot of money and put them in a squad. We've got quite a few. I think it's safe to say that Khedira is leaving. Matuidi is another potential candidate, but it will depend on Sarri.
And they want Pogba?
Did they even have any midfielders? Did I dream up the existence of Blaise Matuidi? Is Pjanic a manifestation of my mind combining my great love of football with a character from Hobbiton?
So we'd be left with:
Pjanic ("I'd like him to play 150 balls per game" - Sarri, his new Jorginho)
Bentancur (will be worth 70M€ by the end of the season, I guarantee it)
Emre Can (depending on what our plan for CBs is, he might get moved back to defense?)
Ramsey (he'll spend half the season in the infirmary anyway)
Rabiot (is he only beautiful, part deux)
Mistery 6th midfielder? (Lolgba, SMS, Datguy Ndombele)
Would be a very solid upgrade of our mid compared to last season. Hopefully Sarri will rotate more than he used to at Napoli, where he really only had 12 starters. The rest were shit.

I think we should nominate one poster who will report transfer news for each club.
Otherwise I'm not going to make it through the summer, my dear United brehs. One can only take so many AWB posts.

By Wahabipapangus Go To PostKamil Grabara with another impressive performance. Been great in the Danish league as well, although obviously take that for what you want. Think he got potential to be a pretty decent premier league keeper though, or a very good backup for LiverpoolInteresting. Seen a few interviews with him where he has come across as very arrogant, which is not a bad thing really. Never seen him play but we can probably dump Mignolet.

Wonder if Lingard even entertained the idea of keeping his head down for the summer coming off the back of such a dreadful season, individually and for the team
I'd sell him and Pogba on the basis that, while I do not think the whole social media industry thing necessarily affects them and what they do on the field (not to say they are great just that it doesn't affect them), I do think it has an effect on those in their orbit e.g. Rashford.
This is why both players will receive contract extensions in due course.

He may be a local lad which is obviously why he's still there, but he's a fucking shite ambassador for the club which makes it all a bit pointless.

I don't within reason mind him having fun on his holiday but it's a poor influence and very poor optics.
Mind you, not like other players haven't been caught fucking people on holiday on video (e.g. Lampard and Rio) but they get the benefit of people letting them off cus they were actually good. Also they didn't base their whole personality around off-pitch activities rather than on-pitch stuff.

James at Napoli would be great. I like watching Serie A but I cannot watch another season of Juventus strolling from November.

and I can think of plenty of games where he was really decisive. Six or seven competing for a midfield of three is the ideal number
yeah he has to fucking rotate or else what's the pointttttt
