Got the return ending. Was needlessly complicated. Crazy how the game is like 5 hours long when you just fight the bosses/minibosses. Might go for the platinum, seems easy enough.

Shura/Purification got different bosses towards the end, so you need to learn them, but it's still relatively easy once you got a feeling for the game and the normal bosses.
By SUPER YARAK Go To PostI just used the umbrella during the fire and hitting him with the flame counter after the last swing. Tanks all the damage and gives you free posture damageYeah, I hardly used it during my first playthrough. Helps quite a bit against the demon of hatred, but I mainly used it against the shichimen warrior cunts.

Just a time sink to get all the skills
Beat Great Shinobi on my first attempt on NG+3. One of the only bosses you can kind of sit back and bait and whittle him down; and probably best to. He takes away so much posture. In fact, second time you fight him there's actually more openings despite a trickier moveset.
By Hitch Go To PostIs there a way to stop the camera from moving on its own when you're running about? The right stick
I'm struggling with the tells for distinguishing between thrust and sweep attacks, need to start looking at the enemy more instead of just waiting for the symbol
The shinobi hunter's flashing thrust has crazy tracking on it, gonna have to try just blocking it rather than dodging.

Does that work for blockable thrusts as well? Not met enough spear lads to really practice aside from the training guy. The timing on it proper throws me off as well on the hunter with the flashing attack, he delays for just a split second longer than I expect

Going through NG+ makes you realise how small the game actually is... Speeding through it, cleared S.Temple and most of the Depths. Just the Monk left. Going for the bad (?) ending to try the other bosses.
We plan to release an update that includes improvements to strategic approaches and addresses several bugs. Please read on for details.

Release Notes
Improvements to Strategic Approaches
Adjusted the efficiency and Spirit Emblem cost of the following to encourage usage and diversity of approach:
Prosthetic Tools: "Lazulite Sacred Flame," "Loaded Axe" series, "Sparking Axe," "Lazulite Axe"
Combat Arts: "Ashina Cross," "Dragon Flash," "One Mind," "Floating Passage," "Spiral Cloud Passage," "Mortal Draw," "Empowered Mortal Draw"
Items: "Spiritfall" series
Reduced the Posture damage dealt by the first hit of the Combat Arts "Senpou Leaping Kicks" and "High Monk" as it was causing more damage than intended in certain cases. Posture damage dealt in the latter-half of the combo has been increased.
Increased the Poison build-up dealt by the Prosthetic Tool "Sabimaru" against enemies that were intended to be weak against it.
Increased the drop rate of "Divine Confetti" for Fencers in Ashina Castle.
Adjusted loading screen tips and tutorial text, as well as adding new text.
Other Fixes
Slightly reduced Posture and Vitality of Blazing Bull in order to improve game pacing and balance time in combat.
Lowered the price of information sold by Anayama the Peddler.
The Chained Ogre inside Ashina Castle is now Red Eyed.
Fixed a bug where "Gokan's Sugar" and "Gokan's Spiritfall" were not mitigating player Posture damage taken while guarding or deflecting enemy attacks.
Fixed a bug where system crashes could cause save data to become corrupted on PC.
Fixed a bug where certain enemies would sometimes stop attacking the player.
Fixed a bug where certain actions could not be performed after reconfiguring the controls.
Fixed certain bugs that were allowing the player to access unexpected areas, which could result in becoming unable to obtain items or make further progress.
Fixed cases of certain text being displayed incorrectly.
Improved stability.
Improved performance.
Other various bug fixes.

Did they seriously think the camera is good enough to put a miniboss in the place you start the game
Fucks sake his kick counts as a thrust

edit:just got 4 dragonrots with one death, not a fan of this mechanic. Is it easy to hit a point of no return with the NPC quests without realising it? Haven't used any of my droplets yet.

You'll have more than enough droplets in a single playthrough. the mechanic feels like it was meant for a bigger game and got scaled back hard because sekiro is pretty short and the NPC quests are meaningless with barely any reward.

What's more important this time around is eavesdropping on the main NPCs, especially when they're together. Not only for lore but also to unlock a boss fight needed for an ending(s).
Pot Noble isn't affected by Dragonrot, but I'd say he's the most important one if you want to get the top tier Prosthetic upgrades ASAP. The others are just there to flesh out the world, so just do whatever seems interesting to you. Nothing is tied to any of them thankfully

Glad they opted against that, I'm here to KILL not to nurse you cunts back to health.
How do you jump-counter sweep attacks properly? When I jump towards them I go way past them, when I jump straight in the air I'm not close enough to jump off of them
