By Laboured Go To PostIt sounds like a rumour that has absolutely no foundation whatsoever. Like, even less than most transfer rumours involving us.There's one good source that tweeted about it.
My opinion, it looks more like they have an interest, that is blown out of proportions by The Sun and Daily Star.

By Meier Go To PostListening a few times, you are probably right. Either way, I'm sure he wouldn't have meant anything by it. Surprising the camera could pick it up in either scenario.
Hahah in England calling people names isn't always to upset them.
Calling someone a "daft cunt", for example, can also be a term of endearment. "Areet ya daft cunt?" = "HELLO FRIEND HOW ARE YOU?"
By Hixx Go To PostHahah in England calling people names isn't always to upset them.Never heard of such a thing here in the souff.

There's relegation on the nations league?

Yup. For some reason the Dutch team barely made it into the A group, with the lowest seeding of course. Resulting in ending up with France and Germany in the group. But so far we're not even relegated after having played two games. If we manage to get a draw against zeh Germans they even go down to the B group. What a world we live in.

I think about this piece whenever the media start bemoaning the quality of Irish soccer and the reasons for why we're so shit. It comes from the very top of the Irish FA.
In February 2010, the recently-installed FAI High Performance Director was at a meeting with the Schoolboy Football Association of Ireland to discuss the implementation of 51 recommendations from the 2009 underage review. Most of the items were âcommon-sense stuffâ like small-sided and non-competitive games for children under 11. As one figure at the meeting explained about the benefit of such changes, âtheyâre the kind of the things the Spanish and Germans have been doing for yearsâ.
The response to that from a senior SFAI official was alarming: âWhat the fuck would they know about Irish football?â
Delaney seems like a conman as well
Decent at making money for the FAI, but a PR nightmare and shite at actually doing anything productive
Second Captains went in hard on O'Neill after the Denmark draw, looking forward to the Wales analysis. O'Neill is working with poor players, but he and Keane seem to be contributing to the nosedive rather than slowing the descent
Need change from the top down. The Irish league is a huge issue though, very difficult to know to what extent it should be basically bypassed in the progress of your young players. Move to English football too quickly and they can easily get cut adrift by it's ruthless nature, spend too long in Ireland and they'll stagnate
It's definitely the worst group of players I can remember, but they're not so bad that you can get away with setting up like an Iceland. Caught between two stalls innit.
