By Perfect Blue Go To PostThat depends. Conte is still worshipped at Juve - it's only the Chelsea players who dislike him. Not exactly a credible bunch.Well that's the thing. I feel the Juve players are more of men than the sort both of our clubs have. So was Chelsea's, during Mou's first few seasons there.
Think it would be a great signing for you + you can give him that $100 restaurant he's always wanted.
Same thing will happen with Conte with the players United have.

Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Zanetti, Samuel, Lucio, Motta, Milito etc.

Manchester United has no hard lads so Mourinho is rendered ineffective.

I don't think he's strategically outdated in a sense where he's behind his colleagues on reading the game.
But on understanding the players and man managing the new generation of footballers? He's way behind.
By Flutter Go To PostYeah, what I'm definitely thinking.Mourinho is still capable of pulling off tactical masterstrokes, yet when he is stroking soft lads who never get hard nothing will come out of it.

On quiet days, Evert Ten Napel's dead pan "Bakircioglu" randomly echoes through my mind.
I don't know why but I'm afraid I'll have to live my entire life like this.
I'll be in bed with my wife

By Vivalapizza Go To PostHe's getting outplayed by Derby and he's not strategically outdatedAnd he used that against Liverpool and won last season.
Sure okay
My point is that he still has a footballing brain. We had a glimpse of that in plenty of big matches last season, we also saw his pinpoint analysis during the world cup.
But making it work is a different matter, so is motivating his team on using it when their rivals played to their strengths and can win instead of the need to be pragmatic.
Just won't happen anymore. I don't think the team has any faith left in his strategies.
By Flutter Go To PostAnd he used that against Liverpool and won last season.I'm honestly genuinely baffled how anybody can think he is still tactically astute. Sure his tactics have paid off in games here and here...but the fact that the man is using a similar approach for Derby and Liverpool is err...not a good argument to make.

We still get outplayed most of the time, still can't create chance and still can't defend. I mean...it's just very obvious he is now a bad coach.
But whatever. It's coming to an end. This is the bit where he makes out it's all down to the players. They'll be playing ace when the new manager takes over. Cannot wait.
Remember when Barca was all about that denim on denim look a few years ago. I think we’ve evolved on that front.
By Laboured Go To PostWould be beyond hilarious but do Marotta and Cunte even like each other?I don't think they actively dislike each other. It was just one of those things. His problem was with Marotta just as much as it was with Agnelli.
I think they'd work better at Milan or Napoli, but I don't either would pass on United. Congrats.
By Flutter Go To PostWhy would our board get Marotta when Woodward is bringing big bucks.
Because they would be responsible for two seperate areas.
By Flutter Go To PostWhy would our board get Marotta when Woodward is bringing big bucks.I thought you wanted Woodward to take care of the financial side, bring in a sporting director?
That's what Marotta is. He had bigger responsibilities at Juve, but SD has always been his primary role in football.
Zabo, talk to me about tonight's team.
I have the day off tomorrow, so can enjoy the game without worrying about getting up a few hours later.

What I knew was Paratici was more responsible for football related dealings.

That has to be bullshit.
City are top of the PL wages at around 250 brexits, right?
By Laboured Go To Postprobably from selling some other player(s)
They don't really have valuable players to sell (that they want to sell I mean).
They tried to offer Mina and Gomes + a voucher for Poggers last time around ffs. Think it's inevitable Pogba will go in the next couple windows, but they need to pull something out of their ass to do it.

By Zabojnik Go To PostI don't think I was even aware he had a solo career. What should I listen to?He has a few albums -- I actually didn't even know about his first one until just looking at his Spotify now! It must have been super-duper indie and only recently added. We saw him open for Lissie about 3 years ago and I immediately fell in love with his stuff from the off and bought both of his more widely released albums from the merch table after. His most recent album, The Native Genius of Desert Plants, is sooo good. He put out an EP earlier this year that is great and I think he tweeted within the last month or so that his next proper full-length is comingsoon. Here are a few songs off Native Genius that are especially great (The Golden Age & Silver Girl is also totally worth listening to):

Those numbers look bad for United. I just don't know where all that money is going aside from Pogba/Sancez.
As for Barca, Messi is on 60-70 million, but where is the other 500 odd going?
