Anybody that thinks Tottenham deserved to win that is a joke.
United - Spurs
Shots 23 - 9
On Target 5 - 5
Possession 57 - 43
Pass Success 77 - 68
Corners 5 - 2
Fouls 11 - 16
And before anybody says 0-3, just because you score doesn't mean you deserved to win.

By Laboured Go To PostYeah
Getting the job before the season starts and having a good preseason and a transfer window is one thing very differently than getting it now. I assume he said that having this in mind.

xG of -3 of United's 5 shots if I'd have to guess.
By Cleff Go To PostI'll always defend Lukaku. Even in the period he wasn't scoring he was putting in the effort for the team. Was easily our best outfield player last season.Missed a sitter and couldn’t pass five yards tonight. Went full Benteke.
Been crap since returning from the World Cup though.
Those United fans asking for selfies with Moura should be fucking ejected. Gang of absolute shitehawks.
By Meier Go To PostYeah, I honestly don't get that impression at all. It was a universal claim in here from the Utd fans and it's possible that some aspects of his game are slightly better, but the results aren't necessarily telling that story. Then you didn't watch him enough. He did improve as the season went on even if he seems to have lost it all now.
Lukaku just isn't good enough for what Man Utd want to be imo
The same goes for basically everyone in the starting 11 aside from De Gea though. Pogba obviously has the ability, but he barely ever displays it.
Can't wait to see Fred The Unlocker vs The Keeper of the Keys

Pogba should probably fuck off too.
Like he's one of the most talented players in the world but can't be arsed most of the time. Maybe a different manager would get more out of him but I really couldn't give a fuck anymore.

By Meus Renaissance Go To PostTo be honest I thought Utd played better than we have all seasonHave you been smoking tea again?
By Hitch Go To Post'Alderweireld is too old and no better than what we haven't
Woodward knows absolutely fuck all about football
What a hot take a Hitch, Toby is 29, with one year left of his contract and spurs wanted in excess of 50 million. So what utd get stuck with another player coming out of their peak years and on a big weekly wage. No way Ed should have sanctioned that deal.
Smalling for that third goal was just hilarious.
the last few years since fergie retired have actually been great for my long term emotional state. Far less invested than I used to be once I had to experience football like someone less privileged than I was used to. You take the rough with the smooth every week instead of a single defeat ruining my evening. Now ‘we go again’ (tm).

3 games, 3+ big chances missed by Lukaku
Love his effort and attitude but it’s not enough for me. He’s not reliable enough.

I'm not even mad, if this is what needs to happen for massive changes to take place so be it.
Currently reading 'Legacy' By James Kerr - highlights that catastrophe is often the catalyst for great change.
United are firmly in the too big to fail category monetary wise, but the reputationally, are looking shaky

Lukaku has the #attitude. Only player in the entire squad I truly like. Bailly gets banter points and Herrera gets snide cunt points. Lingard has won me over a lot. Everyone else is okay to die.

Difference showed today between Kane and Lukaku.
One that would lead you to a Title, the other not so much.

i dont like any of them anymore bar DDG.
they're all some measure of shit, lazy, mentally weak or inconsistent.
hard to root for this bunch rn. hard to feel any sympathy for any of their situations.
woodward absolutely has to go. mourinho will have to go because we know woodward isn't going anywhere unfortunately.
people back woodward on this like we arent making money hand over fist. blows my mind.

By NinjaFridge Go To PostThen you didn't watch him enough. He did improve as the season went on even if he seems to have lost it all now.I don't really have a strong memory of his play for Everton. I can't say he played better or worse for Utd last season than he did at Everton. But I can tell you that his league results don't tell you the story that he improved significantly. He took fewer shots, he made fewer dribbles, he made fewer passes and fewer key passes per game, he was fouled less and he won fewer aerials. The only thing that went up was that he had 7 assists vs 6 compared to scoring 16 goals vs 25.
I believe that he may have been better for Utd over the course of the season, but that doesn't really confirm that he was better than he was in his previous season for Everton.

so... mourinho wanted to swap a young, talented player for a 30 year old and wanted to bring in another 30 year old?
haha.
Never has it been more obvious that Mou is clueless on how to form an offensive plan or structure. Look at those headless chickens. Every pass is done without a clue what happens next and what to do next. Should I move up? Stay behind to leave an option to keep possession? Attack free space?
They lack confidence in their actions because they don't have a plan given by the manager. It's terrible. Horrific. Shocking.
And Mou's greatest skill, forming solid defenses, has turned into a complete lottery. Mou should retire. Take a year or two off. Drink wine. Enjoy the luxuries of living in a house instead of a hotel room. Meet with Wenger, have a laugh about the old times and admit what a cunt he was. And then maybe return a changed man.

Jokes aside, Bailly and Lindelof should be a good cb partnership in any club managed by a decent coach
Mourinho just avoiding them is such a joke, even worse, he does it to play these two charlatans in Jones and Smalling
Sackable offense

So what utd get stuck with another player coming out of their peak years and on a big weekly wage. No way Ed should have sanctioned that deal.To be fair, he actually has two years left on his deal. It's just that after this season he has a buyout clause set at a lower price (£25m). Spurs definitely were better off just holding on to him and losing him for a cheaper price next summer -- he's worth losing ~£25m from one summer to the next because his value to the team is very high.
Ideally Woodward would fuck off along with Mourinho. He's just as culpable as the manager is for this mess. He wants signings that can generate big marketing buzz rather than fitting in to a team building plan. In a perfect world they'd bring half the squad with them too.
Mourinho praising the United fans for being too smart to watch TV or read papers in his post-game interview lol
Honestly not a bad interview by Mourinho.
