Jones and Smalling all but confirms that Utd will somehow manage to win and we'll never see Bailly or Lindelol again
By Koko Go To PostIs Martial dead? We'll find out their status when someone asks him soon.
I’m so glad that Toby is back in the mix. Sanchez has been fantastic but he’s still clumsy compared to Toby.
Rose starting is more of a surprise, the rest is as expected. When you think we have Son and Wanyama to come back our bench looks decent. Even Sissoko is left out now that Winks is back.

First bad performance and he drops a heap of young players from the squad completely.
Stellar management that.

God I'm so excited for this match.
Alderweireld and Vertonghen back together. Without question the best central defence in the league.
Strange shape from United. That Rio clip where he described Moyes' failures as constantly worrying about the opposition rather than saying "we're United, they should cope with us". Well what the hell is that from Mourinho. At home.
The only positive is I'm fairly sure that Pogba position is similar to what he played against Everton last season which was probably his best game in a United shirt. There's no doubting that as an attacking player he's immense.

By domino Go To Postoh no some players got dropped. it's the end of the world. His failure to actually coach these players its what's damning.
2-2 is my prediction
By JesalR Go To PostLloris starting isn't too surprising, but letting him keep the captaincy is not a good look.
Poch is sticking his neck out for Hugo, no doubt. While he made a terrible, terrible mistake I think most will agree that it was incredibly out of character.
I’m surprised he is even involved in this game but then Poch is a very loyal man.
Not happy with the Bailly drop, but Pereira is expected given it's Spurs. He's behind Matic until he can get his defending up to par, or make it up with something else.

Wouldn't surprise me if they all have "we are all Hugo" shirts under the training gear.
I just don't see what the point of dropping him is?
How long does he stay dropped for? And why? When he's already received a judicial and club punishment, as well as the clear knock to his reputation as a decent human being, then why go any further and arbitrarily remove him from one single yet hugely significant Premier League fixture.

Stranded for the clash between Manchester United and Tottenham this Monday (21 pm on RMC Sport), Anthony Martial still wants to leave the club Mancunien. But according to RMC Sport, the French striker finds himself at the heart of a particularly uncomfortable war of leaders between José Mourinho and Ed Woodward.
Anthony Martial is not at the end of his difficulties at Manchester United. The French striker was dismissed from the group for no reason to face Tottenham on Monday night (on RMC Sport at 21h). A decision incomprehensible to the player, while he is not injured. As revealed exclusively by RMC Sport on June 13, 2018, Anthony Martial wants to leave the club but the staff does not absolutely want to part with it and refused all approaches for the player, including those of AC Milan and the Atlético de Madrid.
Mourinho wanted a defender
The situation is more complex than that. According to information from RMC Sport, Anthony Martial is at the heart of an internal war of chiefs. A war between two senior executives of United are José Mourinho, the coach, and Ed Woodward, the executive vice president. The Portuguese coach has asked for the departure of Martial to recover a large financial windfall and recruit including one or two central defenders this summer. The manager tried unsuccessfully to include the French international in operations to recruit Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham) or the Brazilian Willian (Chelsea). Requests refused by his staff who wants to keep absolutely Martial, very appreciated by the supporters.
United wants to avoid a "Salah"
Woodward believes that the former Monegasque is a player of great talent and trust him. The Mancunian club does not want to reproduce the pattern experienced by Chelsea and Mourinho with Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne. According to RMC Sport, the English club has even sent a significant offer of five-year contract extension to Anthony Martial. Discussions are ongoing.
A proposal absolutely not the taste of Jose Mourinho, who decided to dismiss the French to show his anger. Although he can no longer recruit, the Portuguese coach still hopes to sell the player before the end of the summer transfer window, while Manchester United does not want to hear about a departure. A very complex situation for the international tricolor. A nod to history, United confronts this Monday night Tottenham, who made an offer for Martial during this transfer window. Joined by RMC Sport, the French international agent, did not wish to comment.

Fine him for bringing the club into disrepute if possible, don't see much point in putting points at risk just to claim some moral high ground. Would have to be Poch's call as to what would result if he was stripped of captaincy.
Ed doesn't want to sell Martial, even offered him a new contract but Mou wants him out.
So he's playing games dropping the lad to send a message.
What a time to be Manchester United Football Club.
The Mou era ends this season unless he beats all expectations.

Pastore is as much artist as a footballer. Love the lad
By Cleff Go To PostYou're dropped. You seem to have Woodward, Pogba and Martial just waiting for Mou to have a shit enough season to be fucked off

Think the convo is more like.
This cunt wont be here much longer. Here is some more money to see it out.
"dropped from the squad for no reason"
they serious? he may as well have not even taken the field that's how little he did last week. playing poorly is one thing, not trying at all is another.
no i would've treated that muppet like moyes. failure was guaranteed but i still hoped he'd get it right. somehow.

That lineup is clank as fuck. Full to the brim with players who are very lucky to still be playing for Man Utd.
