I can’t believe Stoke are still playing Berahino. The last time he scored a goal was the 27th Feburary 2016...for West Brom,
By FortuneFaded Go To PostSunderland 3-1 up after 30 minutes. Fuck Hixx.
We were absolutely shit defensively, I cannot believe they only scored once.
Same as vs Scunthorpe, we stopped playing. Both games could have easily seen us score 6/7 goals if we kept playing.
Ziyech could have fished this tie off, but still good result against a tough(er) opponent.

Was in Ecuador for a two week vacation (I was born there), went to a Barcelona Sporting Club match and managed to record a goal. Sensational.
Always thought Bojan was going to make it back in the day. Was even excited he came to Ajax, even though that wasn't a great sign for his career of course. Didn't even manage to impress in the Eredivisie. Same goes for Cuenca by the way. Compared to him Bojan actually did pretty okay. Cuenca plays at Hapoel Beer right now.

Was amazing at Stoke for a short while, though. Dominated their (attacking) midfield. Mark Hughes put an end to that - of course.
One of my favourite players who never reached their full potential. Could’ve been up there with Messi/Ronaldo.

i liked him, too, but no.
hazard. without the dribbles. but with the goals.
Outscored by actual donkey Altidore on a much worse team, in the Eresdivison of all places, before Hughes ruined him.
I didn’t say he ”ruined” anyone, but he gradually stopped playing him even though he was in great form and eventually loaned him out. Twice.
The man’s a cunt.

Bojan definitely had ability and potential, his career went down hill after he rejected the call to euro 2008.
He still had a few good seasons after but he stopped improving and something just seemed off with his confidence. Injuries probably had a big part to play too.
There was that article not too long ago about him struggling mentally with the expectations as well.
All in all, his goal should have kicked Mou's inter out of the CL and he should have been a Euro 08 winner, but it wasnt meant to be.

Fischer is actually scoring goals again innit. Did some good stuff for us, another talent that never really reached his potential.
I'll remember him for games like this. Getting 2 goals against Feyenoord is always good stuff.

fischer literally played one good game for ajax. that was a preseason friendly.
he was never destined to make it.

Also, we don't have stoke fans here, but they'd also tell you he was their best player until hughes RUINED him
the one true danish superstar to ever come out of the eredivisie was...

Fair enough, that is just what I assumed you meant.
But seeing as how varied his performances was before Stoke, I am sure there is probably reasons he stopped being played. He did some decent stuff at Stoke, but thought he was very unimpressive more than a few times as well, and I am not surprised he is shitting the bed at both Mainz and Alaves now.

I didn't realise we slaughtered Feyenoord in pre season, must have misremembered that game aye m8.

last week
That last moment reaction to punch the beer away coming his way, what a man.
Hughes hasn’t had a good season as a manager for over 10 years. It’s impressive he is still getting jobs.

Finishing Stoke higher than they had in forever, two years in a row, wasn't good?

What I liked most about Fischer is that he scored against the big clubs mainly. Twente at the time and against Feyenoord and PSV as well. He was just way too inconsistent, never really got rid of that "talent" stamp.

He still drops out of matches a bit at times. But on average, he has an assist or goal every match, so hard to complain. His top level is certainly way above the Danish league, and I have no doubt that he will be sold playing max another 1 ½ season for us. The arrogance on display from him fits Copenhagen and the team is pretty much with him and Zeca as the focal points, and we are finally playing well again as a result (for the most part).
That pass
That miss, neckless cunt Santander.

Morata was depressed too. No more making fun of him when he missed 5 easy goals in a match.
obviously that sucks. But hard not to judge footballers on you know… The football they play

I think Xhaka being wildly terrible is one of the few opinions I can agree with The Arsenal on. If you put him in Southampton’s team right now he’d be nowhere near the best player. Kind of like how Brian Oviedo had to sink to League 1 to find his level.
I think it says a lot about Xhaka that Guendouzi a 19 year old who only played 18 games in Ligue 2 last year can turn up and look a better player than he is.
