Trippier not enough for you?
By Vivalapizza Go To PostDidn't see the game today (or last weeks or any of the pre-season) so I can't comment on the performance itself but we all know where things stand. Mourinho is going sooner or later, it's just a case of waiting for the time where it looks bad enough and is getting too embarrassing and becomes clear there is no other decision to be made.I read elsewhere that right now United are in the perfect shit storm in that everyone in the organisation is doing an awful job and can be told to get fucked. Glazers, Woodward, Mourinho and the players have all done their bit to make us a joke and earn the vitriol of the fans.
Until then Mourinho is going to do what he usually does and throw grenades into the mix from time to time, sulk, seem absent minded, etc. And I really don't blame him either.
It's bigger than Mourinho for United now. The club is a total mess. Take Mourinho out of the equation and look at our squad and our recent buys. It's a massive blob on randomness. There is no consistency in the decision making and that runs through to the youth teams and wider infrastructural decisions. Different parts of the club operate entirely independently.
It doesn't matter who the manager is - you might get better results than this but you won't get sustainable success. The club is being mismanaged top to bottom and right now what's happening with Mourinho is the culmination of that over a number of years. I don't see any way back to the top for United until somebody comes up with a plan for the way the club should be run and is able to implement it. DoF might be a step in the right direction but I wouldn't hold my breath.

i'd fire Woodward first or at least remove him from footballing matters. if he's picking our DoF then we're fucked. fucking balding clown.

Imagine pep took over United
I don't know how the squad has turned out like it has, but the amount of money spent, the amount of time mou has had with them, its absolutely incredible the level they are at.

By batong Go To PostUnited's play was slower than the 70mm version of 2001 that I watched today. It's why I usually don't watch United. If they keep bottling it like this, I might reconsider.
How was the film? I've been thinking of looking up if they have anniversary screenings nearby.

And they were closer to Arsenal at 6th than City.
By Flutter Go To PostI can see Pep doing better. You just feel that by now, doicare shouldn't need to be in here arguing about luck or stats. United just need to be better and i feel like its mainly mou's fault, because i hate him, so that's what i go with

Pep would have to make do with Smalling and Jones and whoever else Jose hasn't been allowed to move on from because Woodward is involved in rating players abilities.

Pep got top performances out of Fabian Delph at LB and turned Walker into a player who uses his brain. Mourinho bought Lindelof and Bailly; they’re his buys. He also chose to play Smalling and Jones ahead of them. His decision.
just how phenomenal is this performance.
seriously.
notice the break at 2:35. would've thrown my boxers at him. 100%.

Giuve with a last minute win. Napoli with that comeback. Roma with a sensational Dzeko goal in the last minutes. Inter getting fucked as always.
What a league.
Elsk, Lautaro was crap today. Have you been lying to me or is it just Inter turning everything and everyone to shit?
By Elchele Go To PostStill blows my mind that he -actually- became white. How insane is thatExcuse me, it's pronounced vitiligo.
Disagree with Francis, I dont want us to go from a defensive coach, to another defensive coach, to ANOTHER defensive coach.

It will probably be Blanc, or some other ex-United player turned manager.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostIs he any different since I stopped playing in late 2015? Remember him being such a terror for newbies.
Old man Odd here, not sure when the rework was but
Old Bloodseeker
Ability 1 was a single target silence and DOT that also buffed attack dmg
Ability 2 was passive, would heal Bloodseeker for creep/hero kills
Ability 3 was passive, would cause you to gain vision on enemy heroes below a certain HP% threshold and increase his runspeed
Ability 4 was Rupture, same basic concept now, but it dealt nuke damage upon casting, and was much shorter duration.
He was trash and one of the worst heroes in the game, if not the worst. Now he’s one of the best.
I know you lot probably aren't the target audience, but has anyone watched All Or Nothing: Manchester City yet? Really fascinating stuff. I've only watched two or three episodes so far but here's my takeaways:
1. I'm actually surpised at how close the squad is and how genuine the camraderie seems to be amongst the players. The dressing room is popping off a lot of the time.
2. The Aguero segment is incredibly sad. He seems lonely in that big old house.
3. Aguero and his bunny De Gea are really good buds.
4. Pep would be an incredibly difficult man to work for. So hyperactive, thinks so quickly and talks so quickly in that broken English. I had to turn the subtitles on.
5. City is an incredibly well-run club from top-to-bottom. Everyone plays their role very well it seems.
6. Seeing the kitman and the washing ladies get featured was a highlight. True Mancs and wholly deserving of a bit of recognition.
7. Mendy is a pest. But he's our pest.
Anyway, cracking win this morning. Seriously, Mendy is a superstar. To have a fully-firing Mendy alongside De Bruyne and Silva is going to be devestating. It's such a shame it might be months before we see it.
Finally, I'm still not sold on Jesus, I don't think he's up to our standard. He lacks refinement and the innate ability to create time and space for himself and he always snatches and shoots in the first instance without taking the time to steady and that's why he's so often off-balance. He's still very young but eh, there's just something missing from his game.

Think Mourinho is out of line with the ''classless'' stuff. Particularly coming from him and his track record of belligerent fuckery and player mismanagement.
He was never a 'United' manager and never will be. He's too self-absorbed, too selfish, and too arrogant to see the error of his ways. The players don't respect him or believe in him anymore, and his X-factor has long passed. He seems bitter and angry and paranoid. The sooner United move him on the better. They deserve better.
He should watch All Or Nothing and see what a real manager with a real winning system looks like.

By Oddinho Go To PostWow we extended Grujic to 2023 and sent him on loan. Guess Klopp thinks he has a future bere
lmao why
I mean, he has that slow and cumbersome Matic movement down to a pat, but I don't think he's ever going to be half the player he is.
Mourinho didn’t even look like he had any fight left in him. Does he like being a football manager anymore? Needs time off.
