By Pennywise Go To PostAre you enjoying your time with the Witcher?
Yeah man. Second play through tho. Havent played it for 2 years fam
By n8 dogg Go To PostI really really like the PES demo. The Year of PES
This tells me nothing though. Last year’s online beta was amazing and the full game was trash.
By n8 dogg Go To PostYeah man. Second play through tho. Havent played it for 2 years famHehe. Also planning on playing it soon, I finished the base game shortly after release and I finished the DLC.
Never got around a second playthrough as I gave it to my gf and she finished it twice, but I've got it back now.
First I need to finish Alien Isolation, but that Alien is seriously pissing me off so much.
By Vini.lad Go To PostThe Year of PESI wonder how long they're even gonna support it.
Oooh Witcher talk?
I finished Blood & Wine and thus I’m finished with all of the core story content and I have a lot of reflection on it.
I’ll just spoiler all of my opinions here just in case:
I really can’t express enough how much I love the story and characters in this game. I felt genuine relief and comfort when Yen showed up at Corvo Bianco, and the fact that I knew it was her immediately when the majordomo said a guest had marched in unannounced gave me a smile and also immediate respect for CDPR for keeping every character so consistent and unique.
Syanna is an incredible character who I enjoyed everything around, but I’m not entirely satisfied with the ending I got. Regis is the coolest bro ever and was so smart and diligent, I decided to follow his advice and find Syanna rather than follow the Duchess’s wishes and summon Dettlaff. Did all of the optional stuff, getting the golden egg, getting the ribbon, and then giving her the bone when she asked for it. Ended up with the sisters forgiving each other, but I would have been happier to see Annarietta toughen up and execute Syanna. She really folded to her own biases. Her sister may have been misunderstood and mistreated, but she seemed far too concerned with keeping her family together, rather than doing what’s right for the duchy.
Dettlaff was a great villain. Sympathetic, stoic, with his flaw being his inability to control his emotions. Listening to Syanna talk about what it’s like to be his lover, how he was unconditional and dependent, like an animal, brought so much of his character into full view.
Another thing I thought CDPR did great on with B&W was showing how much Geralt puts his body on the line when working. In fighting Dettlaff, who is by far the most powerful enemy Geralt has faced thus far, its understandable he need to be chugging potions, testing his resistances to toxicity in order to fight. However what really brought it into perspective was the physical trauma he undergoes to peep into Dettlaff’s visions by imbibing the concoction, and even sipping Marlene’s brew to remove the curse so he doesn’t have to kill her. It really shows the impact when you can see Geralt’s face turn blue and veiny. Regis, too, for subjecting himself to insane withdrawal symptoms in order to agitate his blood for the concoction. Both dudes will unceremoniously risk their lives to choose the path least harmful and invasive to innocent people. While it’s not uncommon in video games for protagonists to take a beating, few protagonists feel as close and familiar as W3 characters, so there’s an actual impact and shock, for me.
Not since Final Fantasy 6 have I felt so attached to a cast of video game characters. I could go on about other things I loved about Blood & Wine but I’ve kind of lost my train of thought, and I’ve spammed you enough anyway.

By Oddinho Go To Postwell, yeah. Mou primarily plays counter attacking football. We pretty much drop deep when Leicester has the ball.
No, United didn’t play City or Chelsea or Spurs. It was Leicester. At home.
Not that it worked that well too. We were lucky not to concede in the first half due to Darmian being nothing more than a traffic cone more than half of the time.
This is cool as fuck https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/96qp68/some_ugoal_bot_updates/

Klopp used to play on the counter, but changed his tune after his first half season at Liverpool. Spurs, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea all have managers who want to dominate the match and keep the ball, because when you have good players or the money to buy them, you play football.
Nice writeup, Odd. Was expecting the word concoction to make its appearance at some point and I wasn't disappointed.
By ATTICUS H Go To Postyeah yeah, we get it.Yep, no shit.
nothing we don't already know.
It wasn't defending Mou. Even if it works I'd rather have a ball playing team.
I’m not making this point because I’m concerned and think you should know. I’m making it because it’s funny just how predictably shit Mou-ball is.
And we’ve come full circle. You guys crack me up. Constant complaints about how bad the football is, but when anyone else points it out you get immediately defensive.
They're Liverpool now
Need to improve our league record against the top 6 this season. It went from being great to shit . Only beat City and Arsenal at home from the ten matches, and lost four of them. Won't be mounting any kind of title challenge with a record like that no matter what we do against the rest

Jesus Odd, we were just adding a bit of a banter there. No one is actually defending the shit play as something we like, even when it does work most of the time.
Checking out the stats and looking at the number of caps Young and Cleverley had back when everyone was complaining about them.
Is it because England didnt really have much of a choice back then, or Ferguson just made them look better than they actually are.

Jose’s football still wins more than pretty much anyone else not named Pep. Jose tactics are still good enough, but his problems lie off the pitch which then causes problems on the pitch at times.
Liverpool fans sure like talking about other teams. I understand it coming from City fans, you know who actually win, but winning all those runner up medals under Klopp has gone to their heads.

It’s hard to only talk about your own team when you don’t support 18 from another league.

And with that post you have won more than Klopp has with Liverpool.
We'll get back to the introspection when we get Zaha'd
Thinking about it, I'm not sure how Salah has a poor goalscoring season if he stays fit
We create so many clear chances from phases of play that bypass him, and he gets in so many tap-in positions that he'd have to have a crisis of intelligence to lose his threat
With the way he's utilised, the players around him and system we deploy I expect he'll get at least 25 goals this season. Would be underwhelming (think of that) but far from poor if he hit that number

I don’t personally think Salah will repeat last year’s highs, but I think goals from Mane and Keita will fill that void.

I suppose they don’t have to waste time on internal investigations that never have any effect. They can just wait until they’re arrested by the FBI or Swiss police.
And the “corruption” removal is perhaps because it’s too vague a term and not specific enough to use as grounds for taking action.
Probably way off but I’m terrible when it comes to legal shit.

Is that why you moved to Japan? You can do what you want (in your head at least)
Yes. It’s affectionately referred to as “Gaijin smash”
“Gaijin Smash
Is used to refer to the prowess and power of foreigners or gaijin currently visiting Japan. Also, it appears when a wapanese person describes their activities or what they want to do in Japan.
1) I totally got aboard a train with a expired rail card. Woo! Go gaijin smash! ”
