I think most other premier league managers think that as well... even if some of them do not admit it.
As a one off season, City's league performance is clearly the best yet.
But in terms of the great sides - other things do come into it and City need to defend their title if they even want to join that conversation.
I'm pretty sure they will but you know - just wait for it to happen first.

Are Leicester considered one of the best PL sides ever, considering their incredible achievement? To me, that's much more impressive than City breaking the point record, goal record etc (not saying City's isn't impressive at all, it is, but from where Leicester was in 2014 to what they did in 2015 is nothing short of remarkable)

You could probably make a good argument that on some metrics Huddersfield staying in the league is more incredible than what City did this season.
Anyone who wins the league has had a great year OR had a great run of form during the season which has resulted in silverware. You have to do that to become champions. That's what separates the champs from the pack.
Who gives a shit about all the other qualifiers for having a great year? Leave that to talk radio to squabble about. Utterly pointless.

It's still so fucking hilarious, that even when all other teams had a shit season, fucking Leicester manages to win the title over Spurs.
By Laboured Go To PostAye, but he never plays on the right wing. Or at least not well.sounds like our kind of man

Mid week match, I'm at the pub, it's surprisingly busy, game is a bit shit, but then witnessing that Hazard goal with people and feeling immense joy. And then coming back down minutes later and realizing, well, we're still 10th. :/

The good feeling lasted for me m8. If Brøndby somehow lost the league in Denmark right now, and Copenhagen could play a part in it (by losing to their rivals or such) I would be forever happy.
Im not racist, I like(d) Pogba.
That Justin Kluivert rumor has been a thing for quite a while now. Probably some truth to it.
I'd probably vomit if he's our Martial replacement though.

By Willkiller Go To PostThat right there, is conclusive proof of why WhoScored is utter bollocks
It is shit for defenders, but very good for attackers.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postare you telling me that hazard and de bruyne central midfield isn't going to be amazing?I thought you had him.
Well, I thought you had him.

T'would be the logical move. Wooders has a money-boner for him and fans getting shirty about selling Martial have a new tricky player to jerk off to.
Crazy.
At first I was just going with the jokes and all but this Neymar move might actually happen. Unclo Flo, you Madman.

Any deal that has Martial moving should be vetoed.
By Cleff Go To PostFuck that.If he leaves, surely it's him and his people forcing the issue. I would assume the club and Mourinho would obviously want to keep him.

It's fucking harder to go on beaten than amass more points so unbeaten season will always be seen as more of an incredible season.
Your not taking into account the psycology of football/competitiveness in this discussion. When you go unbeaten to say December/Jan, literally allllll the teams want to be that ONE team that beats you and raise their game. Once the aura is gone you can go back to collecting points as per usual, there is nothing really left to take from man city after that. They were going to win league, are a better team than everyone so not really much to play for imo.

And he doesn't seem bothered if he goes.

I'll make you feel good? 😐

Martial will return to the premier league in a few years, amass dozens of goals and assists, and contend for player of the season. But for a different club.
Mourinho will rightfully be blamed again for wasting young talent.
