Perhaps this'll get a few clubs to join Liverpool and Everton in banning that shitrag. You'd think City would be condemning them already
Not my place to tell anyone what they should have on their body.
However, you would think in this modern day and age with players being global representativea of their clubs that they would have to get the ok from the club in what is and isn’t appropriate from their clubs.
I do find it disgraceful that several publications have seemed to single out Sterling. It is clearly racially motivated and I hope Man City stick up for him.

Have to agree with you on this. I've seen worst tattoos than what he has, so I don't understand the big deal over it. Although I do think the reason he got it is a bit lame but still its his body and can do with it as he please. Pretty pathetic how the media has target him.

I find it hard to believe those Sun stories are legit. If real, they’re beyond words.
It’s a shit tattoo and Raheem is far from the snarpest tool in the shed but his reasons are his own and tying tragic murders to him is criminal. It should be criminal.
The Sun is simply trolling, like they did after Hillsborough, and I await the day it’s comsigned to history.

Is there a reason why Liverpool is after Alisson instead of Oblak? I actually think Oblak is the better keeper. I'm not saying Alisson isn't good but he isn't better than Oblak in my opinion.

Really unconvinced that Liverpool need a specialist sweeper keeper in the way that City do, actually.

Is the idea that BSilva takes over from DSilva
See what happens when there's an injury. Pep has to change his plans and add a youth prospect as a substitute option. That shouldn't happen to a club as massive as City.

Well of course Ederson is an average shot stopper, it's not his forte. He's a sweeper keeper and if we grade him as that he's pretty good.
Although sorry rvy. I think Ederson is quality, but still one of the most overrated goalkeepers around.

Roma won’t sell to us for anything less than exorbitant money. They’ve faced some turmoil after selling Salah for what ended up being a hell of a bargain
Oblak is great, but while we're not as obsessed with possession and playing out from the back as City are, we're presumably after a keeper who helps us prevent chances altogether.
From the stats I've seen, Alisson is very good on and off his line. Would much rather a keeper who allows us to play high up, and wouldn't force a defender or two to retreat to the 6 yard box when the ball is out wide because it becomes their zone of responsibility.
Beggars can't be choosers though. Not even sure Oblak would want to join us.

It's not a knock on him, or saying he was mediocre but their midfield has been great at keeping possession, teams are often scared to fully commit to a counter that even a defender like Otamendi was made to look incredible for the team.
This could change in the future, because the boy is still young but when I see calls for Ederson to be in the ToTY or one of the best in the EPL, well... I dont know how people could have this opinion when I havent seen him as a stood out performer for any of City's games this season.

He's been the single biggest improvement they made over the summer.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostThis Diogo lad, presuming we actually sign him, can play on the left and right. That's your fullback signing for the summer.
yeah, i've been very impressed by ederson, too. it's hard to be in the spotlight as much as de gea when you're in a a very good team that defends very well, but the times he did have to act, i felt he did that very well, overall.
So sick of right footed LBs. Would love Alex Sandro. Would also enjoy getting someone like Jordi Alba just because he'd upset Sal so much he might post again.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostEderson hasn't been impressive? What?Over Bravo? You could put a lot in his position and it will look like a huge improvement.

His time will probably come. He is surrounded by some of the best coaches in football, playing against some of the best finishers in training. Still I don't think he was that spectacular last season to be in the running for one of the best goalkeepers of the year.

The more I read about Diogo Dalot the more I think it will be a good transfer.
There's still a chance he wont sign though. Porto must be trying everything they can to get him to sign a new contract. It's something I believe will happen when I see a photo of him in our kit.

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostOver Bravo? You could put a lot in his position and it will look like a huge improvement. If you're looking for him to be spectacular then I think that's probably a result of watching De Gea over the years - who has had to be spectacular and is one of the most special keepers in years.

A good keeper at the top level isn't supposed to be spectacular. He just needs to be reliable, and he is. New keepers almost always come in to top teams and can be patchy whereas Ederson has looked supreme and composed from the start. Hardly any errors, absolutely fundamental to the way City play. And he has made some awesome saves along the way too.
He is quality. His time is already here - if he has 10 more seasons for City like the one he just had he'll have been a terrific keeper for them.
Think the Dalot transfer is further away than is being reported. Clubs meet next week and his €20 million release clause doesn't actually come into effect until 1 July. So basically this all needs to be negotiated still between the clubs, although Porto need their money by 30 June too.

United don't like triggering buy out clauses so will spend more time negotiating down.
It'll be because they don't want to drop the respective £18m/£50m cash in one go - for obv reasons
Can't imagine either will be a problem though
