By Bungie Go To PostI remember that discussion we had about Zidane.Yea, I’ve been a huge critic of Zidane.
Respect 👏🏻
But this is exceptional.
By Xpike Go To PostYou can say that but he made literal amateur mistakes, passing the ball to the only ST near and then fucking up a shot that was directly at him.But in the end Pool scored one and had few other good chances. That's not to say they were at fault,in the end the loss of Sarah, of Ox, an unfit Lallana just did for them.
Feel for him but at a professional level he's done.
Well, I dunno how to feel except frustrated. My most hated player on the planet injures our best player 25 minutes in and takes him out of the game. Salah, who had gone through the entire season without injury, leads the team electrically to the CL final and barely as he’s getting started, that huge, rotten cunt brings him down recklessly and ends his season at its apex.
Look I don’t think Ramos had the conscious intent to injure Salah, but this is his game. He doesn’t give a shit if he’s on the wrong side of recklessness, he’s constantly at the scene of the crime and getting away with it. And we’ll always be wondering what could have happened if Liverpool had 90 minutes with Mo Salah.
Saying that, there’s absolutely no question that Real Madrid were far superior to Salah-less Liverpool. We still scored a good goal after a towering header from Lovren, but in farcical fashion, our increasingly reliable goalkeeper makes two unfathomable blunders and puts us well beyond any chance of hope. We looked rudderless for the final third of the game but I can’t really blame them. Our rudder was removed and replaced by a guy who hasn’t played 60 straight minutes of football for 8 months.

Love him

Congratulations Madrid fans. 4 champions in 5 years with one more (?) than Barca in their history (i fucked it up here)
We have to (something) our priorities
how right am i bitch
Didn’t get to watch any of the game since we were driving down to San Antonio to see Depeche Mode, but what a result. I was going to be annoyed either way but I’m much happier that Liverpool ended up trophyless. Again. Madrid fans are already unbearable but they can’t get much worse frankly. Liverpool winning this would have just dialed their obnoxiousness up to 11. I’m sure it will be their year next year though.
Actively avoiding highlights of that for the rest of my life, as I have the 06/07 final
Get a feeling it'll be tougher though, all three goals we conceded will be all over the place for at least 3 months

And Arsenal finished 2004 with 12 draws or something. We’re definitely in the conversation for best season ever.

Zidane had a really shoddy league season tbf. Not disputing he is doing a fantastic job, but they gave up the league against a Barca side literally carried by one person. Need to challenge for the title again next year.
I for one blame Klopp. We all said neither Karius nor Migno are up to the job and he tried to stick to his "man". Idiot.
Hope he axes him now.

Why are we talking about City boys
This is the European Cup
Madrid probably won't more European Cups than City have won European Cup knock out games

R. Madrid and Barca's antic in modern day European football is truly fucking disgusting. 4 in 5 years? Fuck off. Congrats, MadridSla&ent.
By Phantom875 Go To PostHow come no one is talking about how bad ronaldo was? Because Madrid won?
By Ashwinho Go To PostRonaldo has been shit after QFs. He peaked with his bicicleta & has never been the same.
Don't ever want to see Karius in a Liverpool shirt again. Inexcusable.
Fair play to Bale. Madrid are crazy to want rid.

I don't think he is an elite manager. I can't see him doing a top job anywhere else. However, he keeps this group of players happy and sometimes that is all you need.

I’d just like to say that you were a condescending and hypocritical turnip all season towards City so it’s somewhat satisfying to know you’re going to have a shit Sunday after that spudshow and a fruitless season once again.
In saying that, I extend the olive branch and congratulate Pool and it’s fans like you on a great run and a wonderful story. It sucks that it ended like that, but you deserved to get to where you did, and luck wasn’t on your side tonight.

Honestly I think Karius could have been class. Those two mistakes though, I dont know how he will ever live it down.
Not sure what to think about Zidane. Clearly got it wrong in the first half, but once Sarah went off he didn't really need to change anything. And you could say he made the bale sub at the right time.

Bro I swear not two weeks ago you were whining about people’s reactions to your ‘banter’ saying “I never get personal”. You’re sure picking a good time to prove us all right.

It may as well have ended 2-1 and Bale’s goal was incredible.
They’re a brilliant team.
I’m getting a great hangover.

This is the big takeaway for me. You just know he would have scored or played a huge role as the game developed. It’s such a fucking shame.
Bad luck mate. Feel for ya.
