Why do people pick on Cage in particular?
I don't know, as an unapologetic MGS4 fan boy, I consider Kojima to be a greater hack and far more ridiculous in his writing but the same cabal of sycophantic oxygen thieves would happily form an orderly queue to deep throat the bastard. They just have to get past Geoff Keighley

Loved MGS4 too, Kojima is gawd.

They must be dreadful.
By Laboured Go To PostAll reports say a unanimous no. We wouldn't sell to an English club. To the point that we'd drop our interest in Toby if Martial was demanded in exchange.
That seems unreasonable.

On Fekir;
We absolutely won’t change our formation or system. It will still be 4-3-3, meaning Fekir will likely play in one of the positions currently occupied by Firmino/Salah/Ox. All 3 of those players have been injured or exhausted throughout the season, so it’s a fairly safe bet Fekir would be playing as much as any of them over the season. This will probably mean the end for Danny Ings, which is a shame, but if we want to try and get to City’s level then we need so much more quality depth up front and in midfield.
Firmino in particular is so hard to cover when he’s not available or needs a rest, and that’s why a signing like this would be absolutely brilliant for us. Looking back to the beginning of the season, it’s not like when we had Coutinho, Firmino, Salah and Mane all available, that any of them really struggled for minutes. If Phil was still here, you can bet he’s have played a hell of a lot in the last few weeks.
We can’t expect our front 3 to play every game next season, and I actually think that even if we get Fekir, we’ll probably still try for someone like Dembele or Pulisic too.

By Bold 2 in One Go To PostThe moment we heard Cage was making a new game, tons of people in the industry had their knives out - couple that with the general dislike for "movie games" the climb was always going to be uphill so 80 MC is very good.
People judge his games harshly because he seems to genuinely think they are high art, when they are really just 6 hours of janky, poorly acted QTEs with scripts that would make George Lucas cringe.
At least this time he’s had the good sense to steal from
the best, maybe some of the Blade Runner ethos will take this new game to a level beyond his previous works.

Usual sources saying we're after a deep lying midfielder, which presumably was going to be Jorginho until City swooped in. Also say Alisson is still on our radar, but it's more likely Karius will remain first choice and Danny Ward second.
Martial, Sessegnon and De Ligt would be a good summer, but depending on whether Dembele and Rose leave we may need more. There is no way we can let Dembele leave without bringing in quality replacement.

I think we will use Martial more as a forward than a winger. We don’t really play with wingers.

By Vivalapizza Go To PostIn what world do you think Martial is going to Spurs m8?
I don’t really think we will get him, but by all accounts he is top of our list of attacking targets. Mou obviously doesn’t want him so maybe Levy thinks he can do what Arsenal did with Mkhitaryan.
By sohois Go To PostDoes anyone think Utd won't buckle and give Spurs whatever they want for Toby?plenty of other fish (read: defenders) in the sea, innit
Martial to Spurs will not happen unless he refuses to move elsewhere
How does a deal for Alderweireld work if United refuse to sell a player they don't want to us
How would that discussion go
If he doesn’t come it would be because he doesn’t want to

I don't think Toby is going to move to United in the end because Spurs will drag things out as long as possible as usual and United will go elsewhere.
But in terms of the two players, I'd say Spurs are under much more pressure to sell Aldeweireld than United are to sell Martial.
Also I really don't think Martial would fancy a move to Spurs - but that's just a guess.

I think, at worst, we lose out on £25m for Toby. If that's what it is, then that's what it is. He'll likely be reintegrated and play for the team next season. I don't think we'll struggle for having one of the best CBs in the league playing for us.

I don't think we'll struggle for having one of the best CBs in the league playing for us.I would be pretty amazed if Levy is okay with losing out on £25m. And I don't see Poch simply reintegrating him if he knows or suspects he is leaving next summer, that wouldnt be in keeping with his approach so far anyway.
I also think you can get £60m for him pretty easily, maybe even more.
I think Martial wants to be a United player above all else. Just the impression I get from what’s written about him as well as his body language. Seems more like an issue of Jose not wanting him.
I’d be surprised if he went to Spurs. Just not enough glamor for a player who sees himself as a superstar.
