I love baseball -- it's my all time favorite sport. But I grew up playing it and loving it, so it's hard to just give up on it. I honestly can't imagine someone who didn't have it hammered into them from birth coming into it in 2018 though. The games are so long and the season, despite not being longer than soccer, feels like it lasts forever due to the number of games.

I'm hoping their interest in Morata is real and he and his Italian wife can go and make their fashion week dreams a reality.
Christ. Well hopefully their Kessie loan situation breaks down and then he also becomes available.

Here we thought Morata was a bargain at 58 million.
and I like that guy. Just turn him into an attacking midfielder already.

I love this guy, his phrasing is so endearing. Isco a 'difficult dream' is too right.
I will be extremely happy if we wrap up Jorginho soon. I'm a bit cooler on Mahrez but at least he comes as a finished article.
Definitely think we'll bring in more than 2 players this summer anyway. Sooner everyone is in and getting to grips with what Pep wants, the better.
Remember when people on here were actually debating who was the better signing, Lukaku or Morata.
The good thing about football fans is they always admit when they're wrong so any day now there'll be a couple of pages worth of people coming forward to say they were talking shite........

People have been saying Morata is a pile of shite and they were fooled by his first couple of months since November
Lukaku had the better season, but it’s not like they’re miles apart. Same goes for Lacazette.
All 3 of them have to step it up next season.

Lukaku barely outscored Lacazette despite playing almost every game.
By Ushojax Go To PostLukaku barely outscored Lacazette despite playing almost every game.Lukaku does much more than just score goals for us, even though his EPL goal count is pretty disappointing.
He was so much of a factor that we went from playing horribly to I should slit my wrists than watch another minute of this match.
By Ushojax Go To PostLukaku barely outscored Lacazette despite playing almost every game.Is it Lukaku's fault that Lacazette played so poorly that Wenger dropped him for several games at a time?
(Also the only barely outscored him stat only applies if you don't count all the goals scored in cup competitions.)
By sohois Go To PostAs a stats man, doicare should be well aware that Morata comfortably outperforms Lukaku in expGI hope Liverpool loses Firmino and buys Morata.
By sohois Go To PostAs a stats man, doicare should be well aware that Morata comfortably outperforms Lukaku in expGUnfortunately expG doesn't take into account the 'Morata is a soft lad who can't be bothered to try coefficient' so that's why i tend to not use that stat.
Lukaku is entirely selfless (could actually do with being more selfish), has improved immeasurably as an all-round footballer, runs the channels tirelessly, chips in with assists and absolutely #getsit.
Love the lad.

Buffon wants to end his career at PSG, according to Mohamed Bouhafsi.
Discussions between his agent and Antero Henrique are ongoing with another meeting already scheduled.

**ARNIE ALERT**
Telegraph Sport understands first contact between the two parties was only made 10 days ago
I'd say Young is our best - Lukaku is our close second.
but yes, it's absolutely incredible that our best header of the ball is one of our best crosser of the ball, and not having Pogba at the end of one.

Ancelotti looks practically banged on at this point. Even spy shots of him getting out at Filmauro headquarters to meet with ADL and Chiavelli and supposedly sign the contract.
The pissstorm of rumors is already approaching typhoon velocities: the latest names are Benzema, David Luiz, and Seri.
And this is only the beginning.
Figure skating, save me.
Or baseball in the background while I do anything else, at least until August.
Disso and GQ, who is the Napoli equivalent in baseball? The Atlanta Braves?
I'd take any or all three, but none of them will be in a Napoli shirt come the new season.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostDavid Luiz is good though. Someone with grinta. I'd love him at United.I have nothing against the players, and everything against the spectacular nonsense that will amount to nothing.

By Francis Go To PostParis United now claim Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern. What the fuck is Paris United?
Oh, boy - what a summer!
/slit wrists
Edit: goddamnit Francis.
Paris United is a rather good ITK. Could be the agent angling for a pay raise, especially as Bayern saying they aren't expecting any big transfers this summer.
Hell, Leon Bailey was seen with a Chelsea scout in London today.
