By n8 dogg Go To Postdat back four thoThat's supposing we can keep them. Hysaj seems almost certain to remain, but any or all of the other three could be gone. The only thing that might allow us to keep Ghoulam is his double knee injury, and I have no idea how that will affect his play. Koulibaly would bring in a fortune (supposedly, we won't sell for less than €120m), but we'd be losing one of the best CBs on the planet. And Albiol, despite all of my griping over the years, would be badly missed. He makes a fitting pairing with Koulibaly. And we've proven to be incompetent at finding another CB to slot in there (
By Laboured Go To PostChrist this is like watching Smalling and Jones.
By Pennywise Go To PostWelcome to Dortmund.
Well you can't afford him outright, so let's talk about Pulisic bb.
By inky Go To PostMorata to Milan if Chelsea get a new striker.Lewa -> Chelsea
Morata -> Milan
Silva/Kalinic -> woodchipper
Kane -> Bayern for €40m
Managed to get some tickets for Rolling Stones tonight for a fair chunk less than face value. Must not have sold out or something.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostOf course Morata is leaving at the slightest hint of adversity.The most amazing part is when he goes to Milan to be benched by 20-year-old Cutrone.

My firm are trying to get me to register EVERY SINGLE candidate I hate headhunt and telling I have to send them a consent form as soon as I've just called someone at their desk.
Its a fucking joke.

Surprising amount of quiet RE: Chelsea transfer targets. There's Lewandowski (lol) and that's it.
Is there really a chance Roman's visa application is denied?

Would love to see Griezmann stay at Atletico. Too many other cunts in football these days. And it will be glorious when he wins the Champions League with Simeone.
By Meier Go To PostNo way Griezmann turns down Barca.he's seen them play without Messi, he knows how it'll go down.
Those are going to be some seriously not fun years for Barca and its fans. Likewise when CR7 leaves RM.

Another transfer window, another £50m defender for City. Whatever happened to the holistic approach?
Really do hope we go back to the days where there isn't strong favourite for the CL every year
Bit worried City could be that team starting from Ronaldo and Messi's decline, whenever that happens.

Are you saying that womping £300+ million on an academy isn't a holistic approach to financial doping?

One good piece of news regarding Sporting, Bryan Ruiz's wife has confirmed they are leaving Lisbon.
I was worried we would offer him a new deal but thank God that didn't happen.
Hope he has a good World Cup and finds a nice league to retire, preferably one with a slow paced football as running isn't exactly Ruiz's thing.
Doubt anyone will pay him the silly money we were paying him.

Ancelotti at Napoli... I dunno.
Plus, he hated being under Abramovich's rule. De Laurentiis is even worse.

There is irony there. But arguably the greater irony is spending that sort of money on a youth academy so it can be used on an FFP form to allow them to spend the huge amounts on ready-made transfers. Or perhaps an even greater irony to buy very expensive young hot prospects.
They do it because they can, of course, and if we didn't have the commerical revenue we have and had a huge nation-state benefactor I'm sure it's what we'd do to. And play some youth players as well probably.
