turns out they did not beat up the players, martins was right
By Mushroom Go To PostWhat a flop transfer, will Dortmund be fucked out of money if Dembele leaves this season?Lots of teams I'd assume. If Barca is willing to take a small loss
Who will even be willing to pay for Dembele?
By domino Go To PostLots of teams I'd assume. If Barca is willing to take a small lossDon't see any team willing to pay half of what was paid for him
By FootbalIFan Go To PostCoutz has actually been great. Dembele though…. Suarez has had 2-3 good months in the last 18 months, no exaggeration. His goal stats might show otherwise, but it is true. Paco, I don't know what to say. Denis Suarez rarely gets a chance. Gomes hasn't lived up to expectations(Neither have Semedo or Mina)€120m+ great, though?
Just a lot of below par performances from most the players expected to create or score goals. Odd considering how well we've done this season.
Fantasy time: What would you do with the squad this summer?
By FootbalIFan Go To PostDon't see any team willing to pay half of what was paid for himYea, especially if Barca are going to drop 100 mil on Grizz.
By Cleff Go To PostThread on Atletico and Simeone's brilliance. It's almost as if the disparity between the top and bottom teams in Loliga is greater than that of the Premier league............
By flinbad the flailer Go To Post€120m+ great, though?Well, no not 120m great. But if we are spending 150mil on Dembeflope then 120m on Coutz was a great deal haha.
Fantasy time: What would you do with the squad this summer?
I'd keep Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Alba, Paulinho, Denis Suarez, Busquets, Rakitic, Coutinho and Messi.
The rest are all replaceable with any B team player(especially once Suarez is replaced by Griezmann).
@Flabber, for example, Digne getting subbed in now. He is absolutely shit. And if you continue watching, I am confident you will see him do something shit in this game.

Looks like he isn't coming on after all

Pogba quoted in L'Équipe saying ”A coach and a player do not have to be best friends.” when asked about his relationship with Mou.
Oh, dear.
Also had this to say:
Oh, dear.
Also had this to say:
Paul Pogba then insisted on what the Portuguese technician brought him: "He made me progress in leadership. I had the armband with Mourinho, it was the first time in a club, it's important for me, it also made me grow to be a leader in the France team.” He remained elusive about whether he will stay in Manchester United or not this summer. "We are never sure of anything! Contractually, it's on, yes", he said.

We are living in a timeline where turds like Higuain are worth over 90 million
Coutinho cost £140m. I don’t know what that is exactly in Euros but it’s way above €120m. For a player we literally do not miss it’s a pretty great deal.
By rvy Go To Postthat was not sarcasmYou just bought two keepers this week, some greek guy and Moreira again for some reason.

By Razor Go To PostWe are living in a timeline where turds like Higuain are worth over 90 millionYou're comparing a trophy laden proven commodity to a 20 year old who has done nothing but pull his hamstrings multiple times in a single season. Cool.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostWell, no not 120m great. But if we are spending 150mil on Dembeflope then 120m on Coutz was a great deal haha.Do you think that'll have Barça challenging for the Champions League again?

This squad just looks a Messi injury away from irrelevance. I don't think Griezmann alone will solve that.

No one here has exact details on the transfer. It was supposedly €120m before performance-related bonuses, hence my "€120m+". Yes, it's a plus sign. It means addition is involved.
And I'm not sure what Liverpool has to do with the current discussion.
I'd swear some of you lads here have an alert set for whenever anything even tangentially related to your club is mentioned.
Would love Dembele to sign. A summer window of him, Nabil and Naby would be fantastic. #424

For a player we literally do not miss it’s a pretty great deal. Was reading an El Pais article from April today about how Liverpool were laughing all the way to the bank about the Coutinho transfer because he was deemed to be ill-suited, physically, for our pressing game.

rvy, don't play with my heart like that. Don't tell me there's a chance the false prophet will leave without us having to pay for him to do so.
Anyone else think Salah's success is going to have a trickle down effect on English clubs looking to Italy more this window? Or more willing to splash the cash to get a deal done anyway.

By Francis Go To PostI was angling for a joke on behalf of Juve’s superiority. Swing and a miss.I think even the Juventini would admit we were truly competitive this season, even if it didn't amount to anything in the end. It's more than can be said about all but one of our other seasons in the last few decades. And more than can be said about anyone else in Italy in the past 7 years.

If it wasn’t for Koulibaly’s red against Fiorentina, I dare say you would’ve gone on to win the Scudetto.
Next year could be different with Buffon finally departing.
