Rashford stealing Demichelis’s soul at the Etihad was great, too. As was twatting City 4-2.

But seriously, bring me Simeone. Or Pochettino. Or Conte. Or Sarri. Or Allegri. Or Enrique.

By Laboured Go To PostTime to die.You never know. He could be decent.
Not like he'll succeed at United because Mourinho hasn't a clue what he's doing with attacking player.
By Francis Go To PostRashford stealing Demichelis’s soul at the Etihad was great, too. As was twatting City 4-2.I really don't want Simeone or Cunte. I want Jardim or Pochettino. I want hope of some attacking football.

The villarreal with borja valero, cazorla, giuseppe rossi, musacchio, cani etc were an incredibly entertaining team

It’s not moody at all, lad. Those lyrics are having nothing but fun.
By etc Go To PostMartial did turn out to be a pile of shite tbfMeh.
Just had his best season at United despite the manager fucking him over after January.
Feel he was a much better, more threatening player in his debut season.
Call me a body-language-knobend, but I don't think he wants it enough. More likely to become a Nasri than an Henry.

By etc Go To PostFeel he was a much better, more threatening player in his debut seasonHe has stalled a bit in his development, but when he actually plays he can be very good. I get where Mourinho comes from with regards to Martial being moody. He can be a right mardy bastard at times. But he's our best dribbler and an excellent finisher. Being moody doesn't equate to being lazy though. Been far better than Sanchez who he was dropped in favour of.
Ultimately he hasn't kicked on as well as we'd have wanted but the manager must take some blame for that. He has all these skillful, elusive players and hasn't a clue how to use them.
I wouldn't disagree at all that he should be playing instead of Sanchez. The longer the latter has been given to find form, the worse he's looked. Not sure he's even had back-to-back decent performances for you yet.

Not sure he's even had back-to-back decent performances for you yet.His best performances came in his first couple of games. He was a big threat going forward but didn't link up well with teammates. Made sense because he was new and had to get used new players.
But it's been months and he still isn't linking up with his teammates and his individual game has gone down the drain. He runs and runs and runs some more, but loses the ball constantly. I don't think he knows what he's doing. He had the same problem at Arsenal but Wenger at least seemed to have an idea of how to use him. Mourinho doesn't.

By Laboured Go To PostDo any of our attackers link well? Isn't that the crux of the problem?Youre right, but I think it's especially a problem with Sanchez. I've seen snippets of Lukaku linking well with Martial and Rashford. But it was sporadic off the cuff stuff. Same with Pogba and Ibrahimovic last season. We're relying on individual moments to create something whereas other top sides don't have to.
By Freewheelin Go To PostLol yh. That was Chicharito missing a penalty.
Still makes me laugh, the gif version was hilarious
Martial came on and looked more threatening in his 15 mins on the LW than both Sanchez and Rashford today. If we had more games to come, he still wouldn't start the next game.
Mou just doesn't like him, doesn't know how to utilise his attacking players.

I follow the league only very casually, but I could've sworn it began just last month. And even a quick google check says it's still only matchday 6 of 38 this weekend.

Libertadores is already done with group stages going for 16 knockout rounds
Copa do Brasil is already in quarter finals
and the State championships are finished too.
Our season starts in january and ends in december. League starts in april. All the other competitions start in january/february.
Some of our players didn't take well to that "they're used to losing finals" comment from Insigne, huh. I'd go so far as to say it's what kept the fire going this last month and a half. I really don't think we could've done it otherwise. That sweet, sweet hate fuel. Grazie, other half of Italy.
It goes to prove what I've always thought was the case. Players don't give a fuck about fans talking shit about them. When a fellow professional shows a lack of respect though ... they'll remember it.
I'll sound like an obtuse polentone from the nord now, so please forgive me, flabberrimo, but there seems to be a strong correlation between Napoli and victimism. Every little thing, in this case (a probably drunk) Douglas Costa live-streaming for 2 hours and catching a fan holding up that sign, turns into this grave offense against Napoli, both the club and the city. With everyone, from your lowly Auriemma to the major of Napoli feeling the need to denounce it. Allah knows they've got shit to complain about down there, but they never miss a chance to take it to the next level, which then gets used against them. An endless cycle. It's sad to see, from both sides, especially now, when Napoli are playing great football.
