By n8 dogg Go To PostWho are they going to sell to boost that as well? Maybe they get 20 for Elneny or something? Who else is extraneous? The sqaud is already thin as it is due to the selling if players last season. It's really ridiculous to have a 50 mil budget when even TOT have spent more than that in a transfer window. Arsenal needs a GK, CB, RB, and a CM.
Sokratis is only under contract for 1 more year so I imagine Arsenal could get him for £25m or so. I don't really know enough about their team to say who fans feel like they need to replace or supplement, but if they sell Bellerin to Juve for £50m that can go some ways. I'm sure they can find a decent enough RB to replace him for £20-25m and then there's some more money to play with beyond any other outgoings.
Jonny Evans apparently wants to move to City still but I see no reason to sign him so if Arsenal were smart they'd try and sell Chambers or that Holding kid who will just never be good enough to be top players and try and slot in the cheaper replacement.

City's got a few kicking about, maybe they can send one on over.

By Freewheelin Go To PostChrist, it’s like Arsenal’s board just want to fail. FfsIt was never Wenger, 😲.
I think this could end very badly for Arsenal, but there's not much competition from outside the top 6 at the moment, so maybe it's the right time to take a gamble. Could things get worse?
Regarding my computer, it seems like ram slots 1 and 2 are fucked, 3 and 4 are working currently, which isn't ideal because that's not dual channel, but eh, what can you do?
I also noticed my BIOS automatically set the dram voltage to 1.6, when it should be 1.35 (low voltage), and i got an "overclocking failed" message, when I'm not overclocking anything. I wouldn't think that would fry the slots, as they're rated to a max of 2.1 volts as far as I know.

Tells us the same thing as Rooney being England’s top scorer
Banner basically asking Copenhagen to lose (let this farce of a season continue another 77 minutes, let the real work start tomorrow), as Midtjylland are scoring.

thanks blud.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostIt’s our biggest match of the season today. Hope we don’t fuck it up.You're gonna make it.
Sounds like the Tories are now pivoting to an extremely soft Brexit. That was time and money well spent then.

It's kind of funny seeing lads freak out about results in farmer leagues.
I've been meaning to ask, what are some good books/documentaries about footy, either about the game, historical or biographical.

By Suen Go To Postgod this fixture is killing. Forza Parma. Forza Foggia.Final game?
What results are needed?
By GQman2121 Go To PostDid Chiellini extend with Juve yet?I'm not sure, actually. Not something I keep track of, knowing it's only a matter of time. Captain Chiellini.
By Pennywise Go To PostFinal game?Currently it's:
What results are needed?
Frosinone 0-1 Foggia
Spezia 0-1 Parma
Salernitana 0-1 Palermo
If Frosinone wins they get promoted to Serie A
If Frosinone draws and Parma draw/lose and Palermo draw/lose they get promoted to Serie A
If Palermo wins and both Parma and Frosinone lose Palermo might get promoted to Serie A if they have better head to head record than Frosinone.
If Frosinone lose and we win we get promoted to Serie A. If Frosinone draw and we win we get promoted to Serie A since we have better head to head record.
Basically anything could happen. Third and fourth will go to play offs and skip the first round.
Both Hughes and Southampton want to prolong what was effectively an initial 10-week trial during which the club survived in the Premier League and the final details on a new deal are now being checked by lawyers.
Southampton’s previous two managers - Claude Puel and Mauricio Pellegrino were replaced within a year – and, while the contract on offer to Hughes is again likely to be up to three years, it may be more performance-orientated or include some type of break clause.
Hughes’s assistants, Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki, are also in talks to stay on and their contracts are expected to be signed early next week. Southampton are not looking at any other managers and are also finalising pre-season plans that may include some time in China as part of a strategy to grow commercially in that region under the majority ownership of the Gao family.
The club are looking to add three or four players this summer and some departures are also expected, including Sofiane Boufal. Ryan Bertand and Cedric Soares may also be permitted to leave if there are big offers and they want to move.
[…]
The future of executive director Les Reed is also likely to depend on talks with the Gao family about his ongoing control over the football operation.
So far, the Gaos have had complete faith in the existing executive team to drive the club’s direction and transfer strategy.
