Windows updated yesterday, I added 2 new sticks of ram today, and a couple of program installs right before things went tits up.
Not sure what exactly caused it, the blue screens were throwing up different errors every time, and the system was working smoothly with all the ram in for at least 4 hours prior.
Windows has reinstalled okay, might try putting the other ram back in tomorrow if I'm feeling brave!

Has Martial never gotten a contract with improved terms? It must be kind of shitty for him essentially joining half a year before shit gets crazy in the transfer market.
Blue screens always seem to be dead hardware for me. :( I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you. You’re 100% sure the memory is compatible with your mobo/chipset right?
Yeah, it should be. It's not the most up to date build and there's some used parts, so hardware failure is likely. I just thought the behaviour from Windows was very odd. I think it might actually be the slots on the motherboard rather than the ram, currently. But I'm not ruling out the new SSD I stuck in there either, because of the recovery options all failing (system restore points, reset PC etc). Not even the reset and don't keep files option, only a brand new install worked, which I'm pretty sure is basically the same thing.

You already took the right steps starting with only one ram chip. Always one of the easier options. Have you taken a look into the bios to check, if there is anything suspicious?

Yeah that’s what I meant, but I’d think you’d have done it last season, or even within his first year.

Everything seems okay in the BIOS, and everything seems to be running fine right now, with the one stick of ram. Looked at CPU-Z and it's all as it should be. Checked CrystalDiskInfo and it says my SSD health is 'Good 100%'.
I got various errors, page faults, something to do with Win32kfull.sys, system service exception, critical process died. off the top of my head.
Thanks for the help guys, it's appreciated.
Would be cool if the fact Barca owe us a lot of money gave us a leg up in the race for Dembele, but the truth is I don’t think he’ll want to drop down to Liverpool when top clubs will be interested.

Buffon still thinks Oliver fucked him over though in the game. So Buffon has learnt nothing at all.
He’s allowed to disagree with the decision, it was tricky enough that I could see both sides... to an extent.
As a neutral though, I reckon Oliver got it right.

Yeah even with the CL final and good players and Klopp. Wages is one side of it, but let’s be honest as good as Liverpool are right now, we aren’t winning trophies. Making it at Liverpool doesn’t mean the same thing as making it at a trophy winning powerhouse.

Buffon’s annoyance has nothing to do with the tackle. Buffon literally felt you shouldn’t give a penalty in that game situation, especially as it meant fucking him over.
Buffon didn’t give a fuck about the team in that instant. All he cared about was himself and how Oliver was fucking him over.
Largely due to City's quality we're still miles away from being league contenders as things stand, and we can't offer new signings the wages or other trophies to make up for it
An interesting project to be part of for sure, and hopefully we can offer top wages to players who have earned it in our shirt, but we're likely relying on the promise of guaranteed starts and if that isn't enough, shopping from the shelf below.
The jolly boys outings to Blackpool can't hurt either I guess
If we were to win the CL I assume we'd be a lot more attractive, getting to the final is soon forgotten by people who aren't supporters if you lose it
Hopefully Klopp is enough of a name to give us a bit of an edge. Wonder if B-Rod just wasn't a manager good players wanted to join in summer 2014. As disappointing as it was when we blew it in 13/14, it should have been enough to attract better players than we did.

Love that video of Fagner and his family reacting to the callup, and it's a large part of why I still love international tournaments
I'm far less sceptical about the players' commitment and motivation than I am in club football

Players want to play with the best. Suarez leaving in 2014 was what absolutely fucked our summer.
Martinez givena 2 year extension with Belgium
I'm no Duncan Bannatyne, but where on earth is the wisdom of doing that just before a tournament? Unless they expect him to do such a good job that another team will try and take him.

I miss Mick McCarthy commentating on these kind of tournaments. He used to get irate about diving, feigning injury and zonal marking
Does Lawrenson still commentate? Feel like the BBC get fuck all live football worth watching these days.

Asamoah confirms Juve exit
Inter target Kwadwo Asamoah has confirmed that he will leave Juventus this summer.
Explaining the reasons for his departure in an open letter on Twitter, Asamoah revealed it was ‘purely to the interest of his family’ that he called time on his six-year spell with Juve, amidst speculation that he will join Inter once his contract expires next month.
“Neither words nor actions could express the difficulty in taking this decision because I’m immensely proud of my time here,” began the defender-midfielder in a Twitter post.
“Every single person at the club will forever have a special place in my heart, from the Coaches to my teammates, through to the staff and most importantly the wonderful and vociferous fans.
“Even though Juventus offered me a new contract, I humbly and respectfully opted to commit myself to a club elsewhere.
“It’ll be unbearably austere to play against Juventus in the future, but I had to make this commitment, purely to the interest of my family, and it’s my hope and wish that the fans would understand and accept this decision.
“I played with legends and some of the best players in the world, in a golden Juventus generation, and will miss them all.
“To the two great Coaches I worked under – Massimiliano Allegri and Antonio Conte – and their support staff, I say ‘thank you’ for making me a better player.
“Management acquired my services with a fortune from Udinese and I can’t thank them enough for positively changing my life.
“The unflinching emotional support I received from the fans, even in my worst injury times, was so amazing that I feel deep love for this club and will forever appreciate the kindness shown to me.”
The Ghanaian, 29, has gone on to make 156 appearances for the champions since arriving from Udinese in 2012, despite two serious knee injuries.
Asabob <3
I'm going to miss him. One of the most humble and hard working players I can remember. Not a single complaint or bad word in 6 years. A proper good lad. I honestly didn't believe he'd bounce back after that endless knee injury, but he proved me wrong. #juvexit
Conte piece should be gold.
Nonsense on the above Odd. We are Champions League finalists with one of the most impressive sides in the world, and not just the attack (Van Dijk is a huge part of our overall team). And on wages it’s not like Dembele is demanding £200k per week (which we do pay to our top earners), he’s still young and would no doubt come in at a far lower deal.
Dembele is a talent but he’s not the finished article. He’s not Alexis Sanchez, where I agree our wage structure would prevent us from signing.

What would more than likely happen is Barcelona would subsidise his wage for the remainder of his contract, assuming they definitely want rid.
That’s what usually happens when a club wish to move a high earner on. Barcelona’s huge problem is their wage bill, so reducing Dembele by £140k per week or so would be very useful.
I am surprised ADL hasn't offered him a few bob to tell how all of Juve's games were fixed in the 80s

Just a few days before last season’s FA Cup final, Antonio Conte posed for pictures with the Premier League trophy in an executive box overlooking the Stamford Bridge pitch. As he sat in the gods at Chelsea’s stadium, warmly discussing his family’s plans to move to England full time, Conte was head and shoulders above all of his rivals. He had masterminded a miracle title success, breaking records in the process, and the Blues were strong favourites to sweep aside Arsenal and complete the Double. But the final, instead, proved to be a prelude to the breakdown in trust that is expected to cost Conte his job, whether or not his team beat Manchester United and he lifts the Cup this time around at Wembley.
Conte had allowed his players to enjoy their Premier League success in the fortnight leading up to last season’s Cup final, trusting them to refocus in time to turn it back on again. Too many let him down, however, and Chelsea instead produced one of their worst performances of the season. Victor Moses was sent off and Diego Costa lit the blue touch paper for what became an acrimonious summer by giving a post-match interview in which he claimed he would not be forced to China and only wanted to join Atletico Madrid.
Just 11 days later, Costa would reveal to Spanish reporters how he had been told he was no longer part of Chelsea’s plans via a text message from Conte and he effectively went on strike. The Blues knew of Conte’s desire to sell Costa, who he had fallen out with in January 2017, but were completely unaware of his decision to communicate it in black and white. If there had been any doubt, it was then clear that Conte did not trust the club to carry out his instructions without having to take matters into his own hands.
Conte’s message not only cost Chelsea millions in terms of Costa’s transfer fee, it also contributed hugely to the club failing to qualify for the Champions League which will see them miss out on between £50 million and £70m. Chelsea finished 23 points worse off in the Premier League this season and much of that can be attributed to the loss of Costa. Conte’s team only conceded five more goals than they did during their title-winning campaign, but scored 23 fewer. Costa top scored with 20 goals, while Eden Hazard finished with 12 in the League this term - one more than record signing Alvaro Morata.
Morata has in many ways confirmed the worst fears of the board that Costa would be far harder to replace than Conte thought and there is concern that many more players - including Hazard - would look for an exit route if the Italian worked the final year of his contract.
Conte’s message to Costa was forwarded throughout the Chelsea squad, causing shock at how easily he was prepared to dump a star man, and the relationship between the 48 year-old and other influential members of his squad has quickly deteriorated. David Luiz has been frozen out since suggesting Gary Cahill, rather than Antonio Rudiger, should play on the right side of the back three against Roma in Italy and then defending himself in the stormy inquest that followed. Kenedy was caught yawning in the same meeting and barely played again before being loaned out to Newcastle United for the second half of the campaign.
Conte’s frosty replies to questions regarding Willian, voted this season’s Players’ Player of the Year, have hinted at a problem between the pair that the Brazilian himself has alluded to. Asked about his relationship with his head coach, Willian said: “Oh boy. Do you really want me to tell you? Well let’s save it for our next interview.” Willian has started only one game since marching straight down the tunnel after being substituted in the semi-final victory over Southampton last month.
Perhaps the most damaging relationship breakdown, though, has been with Hazard, whose use as a false nine in the limp 1-0 defeat to Manchester City prompted criticism. Hazard had been prepared to sacrifice himself for the supposed greater good up to that point, but sometime after the City loss the Belgian was pulled aside by Conte and had his commitment questioned. The Chelsea hierarchy got wind that problems were brewing between the pair and any chance of Conte seeing out the final year of his contract may well have evaporated at that very point.
No longer able to outspend their rivals, Chelsea can simply not afford to keep losing their best players. Faced with the choice of potentially having to pick between Hazard or Conte, then it is a no contest for owner Roman Abramovich.
Conte’s opponent on Saturday, Jose Mourinho, set Chelsea back years by failing to keep Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Romelu Lukaku at the club, and Abramovich will not allow a similar scenario to play out again. Hazard this week claimed he is waiting to see if Chelsea sign some “good players” before deciding whether or not to put pen to paper on a new contract. But the truth is he is also waiting to see who will be in charge.
While it may have no bearing on his Chelsea future, the Cup final remains important for Conte. Win and he can boast that he lifted two trophies in two years at Stamford Bridge. But lose and future employers might not be quite so trusting that can hit the heights again. That again would be costly to Chelsea, as they face having to pay a full £9m compensation bill if they sack Conte and he does not quickly walk into another job. But it is a price Abramovich may well feel is worth paying.
Nothing new here really.

Reads like a hit piece by Abramovich to put the blame squarely on Conte. I just can’t believe that he would continue freezing out star players without any contingency plan. Article tries to blame him for losing Costa when he had been angling for a transfer long before the fabled text message story came out, and fails to mention the lack of quality signings from the board over the Summer. Morata never sounded like a good idea, especially for the price demanded, and Chelsea otherwise hasn’t brought in anyone deserving of a first team spot since Kante.
