Marseille were playing well there -- really felt like they could make a game of it. That goal was so easy.
deserved win,
3 goals and yet hardly entertaining, just not my kind of football, but a win is a win.

That's Messi-esque involvement.
Will be interesting to see who will Atletico bring to replace Griezmann.
Why are Arsenal signing players before they even have a manager? If we become the sort of club whereby someone other than the coach is signing players, fuck off with that. That is fuel for chaos. The fans will pick Gazidis as the fall guy if next season doesn't go well.

The fans will pick Gazidis as the fall guy if next season doesn't go well.Because maybe they're already quite far ahead with the coach? Because a club shouldn't be entirely dependent on a coach? Obviously those players shouldn't resemble the exact opposite of style that the new coach will play.
By Pennywise Go To PostZabo. Kicker reporting that Favre said no to Lichtsteiner. Looks like we're going for someone else.Well, he already said he's leaving, so ... good luck finding a decent team. Probably a wise choice by Favre. Licht is done.

It's looking like West Ham really will go all out for Benítez.
Good luck!
Oh, and congrats to Atlético. They had it in the bag after going 1-0 up.

Speaking of *backs, the lad Spinazzola has done his ACL, was operated on today. He was supposed to replace Asamoah (already had a medical with Inter) and / or Alex Sandro, so this complicates things considerably.
Unless there's a top LB/RB on the market I'm not aware of, we might start the season with a bunch of proper #terrorbois like De Sciglio and Darmian.
Congrats on the scudetto, flabberissimo.

Well unless Ashley really does bend over for Benitez.

Like Maffeo, Angelino's contract is only until 2019 and PSV has been mentioned as interested already. He is a little short but could be a top attacking LB in the future. Was not surprised he was selected as the top LB in the Eredivisie this season -- he's very good.

Do they still play Danny Simpson?

Bring me Angelino and what's his name, voted player of the year, RB.
EDIT: Arias

It'd be great if Inter failed to qualify for CL this weekend and couldn't afford to buy Cancelo, who's on loan, with Juve stepping in, closing the deal.
Not because I rate Cancelo (he's improved a lot as the season progressed tho, has to be said), but because ... #shaden.

Former Gunners midfielder Arteta is the leading candidate to succeed Arsene Wenger and if appointed, he would be handed a transfer budget in the region of £50m this summer.
Some of Arsenal's main players will be involved in choosing their next manager and they are also understood to be holding talks on Thursday, along with chief executive Ivan Gazidis, head of football relations Raul Sanllehi, and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.
Gazidis wants the successful candidate to fulfil a head coach role, to fit into the club's new management structure.
Arteta is assistant coach at Manchester City and Pep Guardiola said he will not stand in the 36-year-old's way if he is offered the Arsenal job.
It is understood the Spaniard will be allowed to bring in his own backroom staff.
Arsenal want to make an appointment before the World Cup begins next month.

Her half-brother and half-sister seem clinically insane.
The spectacle of the wedding proves that even after countless millennia of evolution we're still an irredeemably stupid species.

I've learned all this in the last ten minutes from Amanda Holden on US tv.

This is the logic that leads to bad teams. Investing in defence is important. If they keep Mahrez and Vardy again, it makes far more sense to upgrade their weaker positions.
