By n8 dogg Go To PostIt’s just proper chillout music. I think it would be trash live but loving walking and listening to it. Its lyrics aren’t that different from older AM stuff, its just the sound that’s different. And even then its pleasant music with a few real funky beats (golden trunks and american sports are great especially)Yeah, I totally understand -- music is more of a feeling and that can be harder to put into words. You did it well enough. I wish I liked it, but for now at least it just isn't working for me. I certainly wish it did.
I dunno. I find it a lot harder to write about music than i do film or football; i don’t understand it enough and its fairly intangible. But i know i like it enough to have listened to it all 3/4 times now.
By Dan Go To PostPep just said Arteta worked a lot with Sterling to improve his game.
Are you saying Iwobi will score 15 goals in the premier league next season
By Meier Go To PostCurious who Pep will bring in to replace Arteta on the staff. We have quite a few assistants already so it isn't necessary per se, but it seems like he enjoys having a lot of other guys in the room. Whoever mentioned Xabi Alonso a few pages ago could be onto something especially given his overlap with Pep at Bayern (typo originally). Xavi would be a good choice as well but I think he's probably enjoying that Qatar money too much to give it up.I remember Alonso complaining about the 'high' tax rate in England before he left Liverpool. #tory
See Malick is doing a 3 hour recut of TTOL for the Criterion release. Still waiting on that damn Voyage of Time.
Friend just sent me this clip and Noel very briefly shares his thoughts in this clip: “You’d expect a few choruses...isn’t any of them.”
I think he nailed it. I don’t know how to even think about singing along to these songs. They’re just there. Meandering. They don’t stick in your head at all and maybe that’s why — the lack of choruses.

Well they looked at Sane and Sterling last season vs this season.
Sane goals and assists 8 last season 25 this season.
Sterling, 13 and 29.
GNev said he worked with Sterling and he’s seen a huge improvement and asked how much work have you done with them personally and collectively and Pep said “Mikel Arteta has helped them both to make a lot of actions near to the box. The qualities one against one, we say to the wingers when you receive the ball, if the control is good, the shape is good, go, go, it doesn't matter if you lose the ball - try."
By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat exactly is wrong with “tapping up”?Probably what Jimmy Savile thought as well.

Over a thousand Sporting fans gathered outside the stadium with banners against the violence that happened and showing their support for the players, singing chants about them.
Pretty cool insight into how Klopp has transformed Liverpool, focusing a lot on his relationship with the players and staff and especially Coutinho.
Can’t shake the feeling that we’re really damn lucky to have this guy at the helm. Also paints a picture of what some of the more closely connected journalists have said about Liverpool over the last few seasons—at the moment the club is in a very healthy working condition.

Really think if Klopp sorts out the defence and Salah stays then Liverpool will have a real chance of pushing City the closest next season.
By Freewheelin Go To PostReally think if Klopp sorts out the defence and Salah stays then Liverpool will have a real chance of pushing City the closest next season.
As much as I want to agree I don’t think we have the depth to do this, personally. We can’t afford to do what Man Utd do, retaining players like Fellaini, Young, Martial, etc. The drop in quality to our backup players is steep.
We just don’t have those resources.
That said, it’s a long shot but still possible we make a legit title push next season. A lot will change over the summer in the PL, with Utd, Arsenal and to a lesser extent Chelsea resculpting their squads. City are still the best and strongest team but we’ve seen it before where the league champions can’t sustain a second season in a row of the same quality.
As for the defense I’m not going to call it “sorted” but since Karius and VVD became regular fixtures Liverpool have had a pretty solid record there. As has been posted here, second half of the season we had joint fewest goals conceded and were I believe second behind only Man Utd for clean sheets over the season. Knock on wood

By Killer7 Go To PostImagine Jose never says this. It's what he criticised about Martial in his first season, the unwillingness to run at the defender with the ball.
And then he can be found constantly criticising Shaw's attempt to go forward, showing how much he dislikes the lad.

We are linked with a 21 yo Freisburg defender for 35 million.
I thought we were getting Sokratis for like 20, pls we are already 5 mill over budget.
Ooo shanks may pull the trigger on a new watch, Patek Phillip nautilus (blue dial) but had heavy look of #concern from the wife as we're about to ask for mortgage that will take us within reach of our limits. But I want it lol

Danny Rose also recently linked with a move to Everton, after the Manchester clubs drop the interest.

Well except for "Four Out of Five" I'd say. Especially the last minute is so damn inviting to sing along.
Also on the artic monkeys I went foolishly expecting another am (one of my albums of the decade) and it wasnt so was I was upset. I will listen again with a more open mind
