Wilshere probably should go but not be a starter, since he offers something different. Would be a decent option off the bench to unlock a team. Certainly over players like Livermore and Shelvey lol.

Oh I'm not saying that Hendier would be a match for Chelsea's midfield pairing (though I would rate Matic as no better than either), more that a 2 DM system should not inherently be an issue with that formation. I personally expect Dele Alli to take one of the positions, however.
Really can't see any reason not take Shelvey r at this point. Presumably there will be at least 4 central midfielders. The only other person South gate might take is Lofts Cheek?

But we're certainly not above paying top salaries and money talks for most players. I also don't think we need a whole lot of new additions despite how awful the season has gone. Fresh forward player and a goal threat would be nice though. Really more concerned with retention. If Hazard stays on and takes his pay bump, that's it, we'll never have to worry about him leaving because he'll be past the age where anyone (Madrid/PSG) would be interested.
We're also not linked with Sessegnon at all. That's just me really being impressed with his development over the last year and half and believing he's not even close to his full potential yet.
