I’m not happy selling Toby to United but if we can get £50m then so be it. Just get it done ASAP.
No doubt De Ligt will be another top signing, Ajax haven’t let us down yet.

What confuses me is that I'm fairly sure we could get £40m for Toby from a foreign team too.
Keep that PSG special partnership running well, sell them Toby, get Neymar next year.

By Pennywise Go To Post@MeierYep. His agency mentioned it in the release on their site.. no specific numbers but I'd assume it will be something like €15m next summer to start and maybe go up a few million each year for a few years. Has any more news come out of Germany about the specifics?
That Maffeo lad got a buyback clause.
He is very, very talented -- people were really surprised about how well he did this year in Spain and I think he'll continue to impress. I'm sure City could have gotten more money for him as there was a lot of interest from big clubs including Valencia but the smaller fee shows an intent to bring him back IMO. Stuttgart obviously had a lot of interest in him given it was a club record fee and this will allow him to develop further with a little less pressure than if he were at a bigger team. It's a shame they just missed out on the Europa League but he should continue to play most every week like at Girona. I'd have liked us to try and shift Danilo (despite having a pretty decent season) and bring Maffeo into the fold but a few more years of development will be better for him.

Only the part about his agency, which is somehwat of a suprise.
Never seen any agency willingly share that and that they're even allowed to.
By Ushojax Go To PostNo doubt De Ligt will be another top signing, Ajax haven’t let us down yet.City are apparently in the running to sign him as well. I don't think we need to of course, but we've been trailing him for awhile. Presumably next season will be Vinnie's last (that is all he is currently under contract for) so perhaps City could loan De Ligt back to Ajax for one more season. I will be very sad when Kompany leaves because on his day I still think he is a fantastic player but there are obvious reasons why we'd move on.

I am actually a little surprised that Everton aren't targetting Arteta as well especially given that it sounds like Big Sam will not be retained. If a guy is going to get a first job in the Premier League, that seems like a better place to start than Arsenal especially given that he was actually there for longer.

I honestly think he is. People take his excellence for granted.
Being taken for granted and being underrated are 2 different things.
Messi is not andwill should never be underrated.
Messi is not and
Salah needs a decade of sustained performance to be considered in the same league as Ronaldo or Messi.

Talking of Tokyo, just booked a flight there.
Can't wait to be drinking jap whisky and eating fugu again.
Because the vast majority who say he is the best ever say so just because of the goals.

Good to see that Levy is getting on with business.
By Pennywise Go To PostReally talented lad, but I think it's to early for him to go to a big club yet. He got the right body as a defender, is fast enough and knows how to tackle and position himself. I haven't watched Freiburg enough to judge his creation and his long balls.Perfect for Arsenal.
The problem he still has, is the lack of concentration at times. Every once in a while you got the feeling that his focus isn't 100% there and that often results in a dumb foul. In general he collects quite a few cards.
So that's something that needs to be worked on, but nothing really substantial and he's still incredible young.
Another point is the language barrier that might need some work, when he arrived in Germany he could only speak Turkish as far as I remember.
Have you guys talked about Chelsea being sued for being racist towards players? Seems like it's not only the fanbase.

Chelsea and racism is hardly a novel idea.
