Wasn't aware that Wanyama was also maybe on the outs. He was injured for most of the season.
I think the injury to Wanyama’s knee last summer was managed really badly and has ended up being much more severe than originally thought. He got a “knock” in preseason and didn’t feature, was rushed back for the first home game, had a terrible performance that cost us the game and then disappeared for 5 months. When he came back he was completely lacking mobility and even now has still not recovered properly. The Wanyama of this season is of no use to a top club.
This is really a massive summer for us, our entire midfield needs work. Dier is obviously first choice but Dembele, Wanyama and Winks all have huge injury problems. It won’t be easy finding players who can replicate Wanyama/Dembele’s level from 16/17.

The big thing is whether Levy can get the business and contracts done early.
