By Fenderputty Go To PostYo is the man in black a host? That ending shot of him digging into his arm …I dont think so, when he and his daughter were in the forest and the soldiers came.
they scanned him behind his neck to check if he was a host and he wasn't.
but i dont why he was digging into his arm.
the plot thickens!

Ohh yeah I remember that now. That being said ... his daughter passed and William still smoked her.
By Lunatic Go To PostI thought he iced them before they finished scanning her?
Ohh shit I have to rewatch now lol

So I watched that scene again. They were checking her before William stole the gun, blasted the merc dudes and then shot her. So I suppose we’re left to wonder

Good point. I'm sure Ford would have liked a host running Delos.
Shit just watched it.
I think maybe William is gonna do a 180 on trying to destroy everything. Maybe go 100% to bring his daughter back.

Just watched episode 10 of season 2.
I have nothing significant to contribute to this thread except that for me season 2 was a frustrating and confusing mess.
I consider myself somewhat intelligent yet I felt like a 6 year old trying to read and understand Nietzsche.
Is the show trying too hard or did I suddenly become a moron after season 1?

Holy fuck man. I knew something was up with how Tessa Thompson was acting for most of the season. I buy that revelation.
By Khaliss Go To PostJust watched episode 10 of season 2.Trying too hard, mixed up timelines in every episode, stupid revelations as twist to get shock value, everyone is a host now, half the shit doesnt make sense. They overcomplicate things to make it seem like they are so smart, when in reality the best episodes are the ones that are the simplest or easiest to follow. Akechetas story and Maeve's time in Shogunworld being examples of that. Everyone else is so fucked up I don't know if it's present or past and a result I don't necessary have an emotional investment in what happens i'm just watching to hope it makes any sense.

What the fuck happened with William?
One minute he is in the lift, the next he is has been saved.
Edit: oh shit. Typed that while the credits were rolling lol.
Man that William scene was confusing as fuck. No clue what was going on.

Ehhhhhh ....like I get the reveal and the need for timeline Fuckery if you want to save that for the end, but that was still overly convoluted. Some thing didn’t makes sense, like why weren’t Maeve and her group affected by the Trojan horse hooker, and what Fucking timeline was that ending with William? I liked this season, but they ended this season a lot less cleanly IMO

I assumed that Maeve's group were not infected because they were awake. Just like how Maeve couldn't control Lawrence.
As fo William, seems the clues were from the elevator and the lights. When William was going down the lights were flashing, but apparently Bernard went up in the same elevator and everything was normal I don't think William every got into the elevator in the normal timeline. Must have just been out cold and then was saved. No idea what fuckery they got going on.
And as said in my first post of this thread, the time line jumping sure did get tiring quickly. All that just for the Hale reveal.
