Played an hour and a half. Visuals 2 strong. Story surprising me so far in terms of quality. Had to bring combat from challenging to normal because it felt like bullet sponge trash..really unfortunate. Enjoying it a lot more on normal so far though.

Some subquests have been Witcher 3 tier, or better. You basically enter a different area and can learn more about the lore, etc.

Does playing on Hard encourage you to find a combo that works, and keep on spamming it? Or does it mix up enemy abilities, placements, immunities and attacks up to force you to constantly use everything at your disposal?
The further we got into the Arkham series the more frustrated I got with how many different enemy immunities there were, so I hope GoW lands somewhere in the middle.
Also hope my lack of Norse mythology knowledge doesn't impact too much, I loved seeing the classic Greek stuff pop up in the original games, especially the first.

Man combat feels awkward as fuck. Hope that feeling goes away the more I play but I'm kind of disappointed with it so far.

Sometimes it's hard to keep track of all your skills, I'll die, take a look at my skillpage and realize "oh, forgot I could do that" then handle the mob pretty easily.

Atreus is fucking awesome. Saved my ass vs these lvl 6 legendary heavy draugs. Jesus he's useful especially when(minor upgrade spoilers) he gets the light arrow plus the sick ass magic wolf
