tl;dr: Who wants to manage the Yankees next year?

Aaron Boone is starting Neil Walker at 3rd over Miguel Andujar and Andrew McCutchen isn't starting, either. Andujar hit for both power and average this year, hitting around .300 with 27 homers, 47 doubles, and 92 RBI. Walker hit.... .219 and is 1 for 14 in his career against the Red Sox starter. Walker is better on defense, sure, but fuck, can I get some offense first? Meanwhile, Aaron Hicks is hitting leadoff tonight (missed the last 2 games with a bad hammy), Gardner is hitting ninth, and McCutchen is out of the lineup. Of the 3, McCutchen has the better average and a far better OBP. I get bringing Hicks back (he's second in those categories), but McCutchen and Andujar should both be playing, assuming they're both healthy.
Edit: Just watching MLB network, and they're trying to sort through the decision, giving the benefit of the doubt and saying Andujar is "struggling." To be clear, he's 2 for 10 in the postseason. Small sample, but his "struggling" is Neil Walker's fucking average. If we're going for regression to the mean (2 for 10 for Andujar vs. Walker's 1 for 14 against the Red Sox starter), I'm betting on Miggy.

I'm not saying tonight is a must win, but if the Yankees lose, I swear I won't watch them play again this season.

YOu make so much sense when you're not rooting for the Yankees.
CC Sabathia on Angel Hernandez as umpire last night:
They asked Boston starter Rick Porcello about CC's comments.
I'm not even mad.
"He's absolutely terrible," Sabathia told reporters after giving up three runs on five hits over three innings, walking two and striking out one. "He was terrible behind the plate today. He was terrible at first base. It's amazing how he's getting jobs umpiring in these playoff games."
Asked whether Hernandez was the reason the Yankees lost, Sabathia responded: "Not at all. But he shouldn't be around these playoff games."
"He's always bad," Sabathia said. "He's a bad umpire."
When asked whether there should be a mechanism for umpires to be removed from a series if they have a game as poor as Hernandez had Monday, Sabathia said: "Yeah, that's what we do. We have a bad night, we don't get to play. I don't understand why he's doing playoff games."
They asked Boston starter Rick Porcello about CC's comments.
"Throw the ball over the plate, CC," Porcello said. "I thought Angel Hernandez called a good game. You gotta get the ball over the white part of the plate and then you get the strikes called."
I'm not even mad.
