Him going out effects the rotation and you lose his length, which is important because the Rockets switch everything. Now Joe Johsnon will probably see significant minutes, and he's been terrible since he got here.

The actual more surprising thing is that he's really lifted his 3pt % the last two years. Good for him. Really makes him valuable.
