We were killed by OKC in the last two matchups, but Gobert was out for both of those matchups.
Rubio-Mitchell isn't the greatest defensive backcourt ever, but they're still good and will put up enough resistance against Westbrook. Same for Ingles and Crowder vs. Paul George. Favors obviously has a really bad matchup with Melo if Melo becomes unwashed but... I don't know if that will happen. Even if it does, playing Crowder should hopefully go fine.

Well... I'm hopeful Gobert will figure him out.
I would obviously have preferred the Spurs or Pelicans, but we still have a good shot here I think.
sad world we live in these days when people prefer to play the Spurs in round 1 over the Westbrooks.

Dude bought the team in 2012 for like $350 million.
Robert Pera's deal to retain control of the Memphis Grizzlies under the terms of an unusual buy-sell clause values the team between $1.3 and $1.4 billion, a big price tag for a small-market team that has been among the league's largest revenue-sharing recipients, sources familiar with the process told ESPN.

By diehard Go To PostAdams gives Gobert problems, he pushed him around a lot. That will be the most frustrating part. Yes, FThunder incoming, but Adams just puts his forearm in Gobert's back or chest and moves him five feet on every rebound. It's going to be a lot of that, and Gobert will either need to get tough against it real quick or find a way to draw some fouls out of it.

I kind of think that Golden State might throw tonight's game. If they lose tonight, they're guaranteed to avoid the Jazz and the Thunder in the first round (assuming the Thunder beat the Grizzlies). Without Steph, the Jazz and Thunder are their worst possible match ups out of what is still possible. Looks like the Jazz are pretty much guaranteed the Thunder either way, unless the Grizzlies find some pride.
Guys, I think we should all take a moment away from talking about these things that don’t really matter, and pour one out for Brazilian KD. Tomorrow night will be his last NBA game.
Who knew on that infamous draft night that he was two years away from two years away from not being re-signed by the Kings?

Who has a better shot at beating Golden State: Denver or Minnesota.
Minnesota has Jimmy Butler but on the other hand... The team is pretty not good other than Jimmy Butler and KAT.

soooo everybody thought that the Jazz needed to win tonight and then Jazz-Blazers determines the 3rd seed. The NBA just sent out a note saying that tonight's game doesn't matter, the winner of Jazz-Blazers will get the 3 seed. I'm still confused.
Here's the official breakdown of scenarios.

Regardless.
-If we win one or both of the next two games and OKC beats Memphis, we play OKC
-If a bunch of fuckery happens, we could play Portland or GS.

Ok, so maybe the Jazz should take it easy tonight knowing that tomorrow's game is far more important? Or does winning tonight and then losing tomorrow still maintain home court? I'm too tired to actually connect all the scenario dots. Reilo, please help.

A win tonight will basically mean we play OKC. There is a magically shitty scenario where we think tonight doesn't matter, OKC loses.. and we play @GSW.
haha now people are saying it is indeed incorrect and they are making a new one. wow.

The answer is Minnesota. Denver is soft as baby shit
