at this point its pretty clear he wasn't 'shocked' by any of his own medical issues
he should've sat the fuck down and his people should've told him to as well
even if you remove the playoffs from the equation, there's no way he should've rushed back to cleveland AND been an asshat while he was there
if kawhi can get with that, then everyone should

That reminds of when Trevon Duval had a monster slam against Carolina, he retweeted a video of it from the locker room, and caught hell for it because they lost the game.
I think he retroactively should be issued a pass. I mean, if it's good enough for King James....
(Coming soon to a second round near you. Athletic as all get out, can't shoot, bad decisions. I'm rooting for the kid, though. Blue Devil.)

Yeah that's strange.
By reilo Go To PostThere's some stuff missing that I got straight from Millsap, Deron, Miles, and Price the same day Jerry retired.
sorry diehard
Sloan had been told that the team was going to rebuild after the season and he highly disagreed with it. He told them he was too old to rebuild, and they said they would reevaluate after the season, so Jerry stayed. Then the blowup with Deron happened, and the part that is missing was that they told Jerry that they would move Deron that season, but Sloan didn't want to go into that rebuilding mode, and he didn't think that Deron and he could make things work for the rest of the season. At that point he felt that he just didn't have the energy either way. He wasn't going to rebuild, and he wasn't going to spend the season getting into it with Deron.
Also, Jerry had told Kirilenko (who he was actually pretty close to, despite always being tough on him) that the team was planning to rebuild and that he wouldn't be a part of it. Apparently Andrei was crying and super upset about it. That all happened the night of the blowup.
So the missing part that never gets reported is that Jerry was gone no matter what. With the team wanting to rebuild, he was out. The in-season drama just sped it up, though players thought he was hoping that Phil Johnson would get some audition time as interim.
Then we ended up with Ty Corbin and thank goodness Quin Snyder came along after that.
Oh, and I also gave my autographed Deron Williams jersey to goodwill.

At least Bender can shoot. Chriss is the real disaster, given that they traded him for him with the better Bogdanovic's rights
By DY_nasty Go To Postdid you forget len and bender were on your team giriAnd yet, no zellers. Or biyombos.
I mean, is spencer hawes your best C in the last 20 years? Maybe okafor?

there isn't a team in the league that would turn away a guy like zeller

None of this is mine, but it was generated by a site called deepart.io where you give it two pictures: one of the scene you want to depict and the other of what art style you want it to be in:

If Denver wins today and OKC loses, OKC will be in 9th place.
Well, that would be bad for them.
But OKC would have to lose against Miami or Memphis to actually finish 9th and that seems unlikely (Denver and Minnesota play each other and thus one of the two will have to pick up a loss).

How did Chicago only end up 9th in the tankathon???
Man, there were some shameless tanking teams this year.
David Nwaba is 4th on the Bulls in wins shares, I have no idea who that is.
And yet there were 8 teams with worse records.

By Randolph Freelander Go To PostWhy can't it be both.Houston’s an offensive juggernaut and OKC can’t stop anybody when it counts without Roberson. They’d probably rather have a team that can’t put up a fight in the 1st round, but I doubt they’re overly concerned.
Houston fears OKC. Mark it, dude.
