By Kibner Go To PostI think they changed the way voting works since then, which is what makes it more unlikely.Did they? Is it the same as the MVP changes? 100 independent voters and all that?
By blackace Go To PostDid they? Is it the same as the MVP changes? 100 independent voters and all that?Yeah, I believe so. I read something about it earlier this week but my memory is a bit hazy.
Every single time that Malone starts calling for plays the whole offense goes to shit.
What horrible third quarter.

Example A of why you don't be a dumbass and get a technical foul late in the game (Giannis)
Also the refs have been helping the Nuggets.. a lot.

By Jeff-DSA Go To PostContract the Bucks.i feel like if you had watched the last 5 minutes of that 4th quarter you would be saying contract the refs
Denver has the toughest remaining schedule. Gonna be exciting to see which 2 of Minny/NOLA/Denver make it to the Post Season.

By diehard Go To Posti feel like if you had watched the last 5 minutes of that 4th quarter you would be saying contract the refsI watched the whole 4th. They had so many stupid possessions. Why foul someone shooting a 3 when up 3 when all you have to do is foul on the blown inbound? The team was straight up stupid. Yes, they got homered, but with a lead like they had, it should have been a lock.

He's learned not to overvalue vets. He swears.
By reilo Go To PostGotta imagine that's the end of Kemba's tenure as a Hornet.Considering the contracts he gave Deng and Mozgov, Kemba might get a 200M extension.
By diehard Go To PostI always hate that there are no games on because of the NCAA championship gameDid you see the games they put up against the Final Four games? It wasn't much better than not having any.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostContract the Jazz.Nah, it's a cool jersey. The shorts, though...
By reilo Go To PostYeah, what's that terrible bench player doing lumped in with all those all-stars?
One of these is not like the others?
By Doomsayer Go To PostYeah, what's that terrible bench player doing lumped in with all those all-stars?I know Durant is basically a more beta Robert horry at this point but I wouldn't call him a bench player yet.

By Randolph Freelander Go To PostThis is impressive. But I play a couple of times a week with some younger dudes who are in college and they're all wannabe Steph Curry and James Harden types. If a few more of these backboard highlights leak out and they start throwing the ball off the backboard, I'm done with basketball. It's bad enough that we get guys jacking up 30 foot threes or initiating contact in PICKUP BASKETBALL. Bro, there's no and 1.
What they don't show you is the inevitable flagrant 1 on the next play.
jjj declared. guess i'll do another round of ncaa impressions:
ayton: never great on defense through the season but was really exposed in the tournament when he was getting wrecked by the rando ass buffalo guards on the wing. i still think he can eventually be cousins-tier since he's huge and has a great offensive foundation but his d might be even worse than towns.
jjj: not a good rebounder but that could be cause tom izzo is a fuckboi. youngest guy in the draft, great defense + good shooting %s so i think he's a safe pick for the top 3 but he's maybe the least obviously sexy good prospect in years lol. if you're feeling optimistic: less good anthony davis, pessimistic: channing frye with defense
doncic: i think he'll be shorter ben simmons but with okay 3 pt shooting and good ft% so a lock for the top 3. i don't see atlanta or phoenix going for him since they have trash bigs but i think he's the guy for orlando or memphis.
trae: even after his insane regular season, i dont' think you can bet on him anymore--feels like you'd have to key your entire offense around his strengths for him to be remotely effective at the next level. would be an okay get in the 9-12 range but above that, nah. very good odds he just sucks in the nba.
shai: had a shit game in kentucky's tourney loss but his upside re his length, body control, ability to control pace and all-around smarts are still there. needs to improve his handle and defense tho, will probably be a 2 in the nba since he's pretty slow.
mikal bridges: khris middleton 2.0
sexton: don't think he'll be much more than pat beverly at best in the nba: not enough size to make up for his average iq at pg. fringe lotto at this point.
mpj: pass, was really bad in the games he's played and back injuries aint nothing to fuck with. i'd only pick him out of the lottery.
bamba: some people have really warmed up to this dude but i don't see it despite awesome physical attributes and defensive talent. his shooting improvements seem like fools gold to me, v good chance he's an offensive zero in the nba.
bagely: i'm of the mind that you need to stay away from bigs with mediocre defensive upside if they're not projected to be elite on offense--at least if they're in top 10 conversation. bagley's low ft%, assist% and poor isolation/creation abilities sour me on him.
wendell carter: the better duke prospect, juwan howard 2.0
