I only watched this trailer now despite it being out for a while but this actually looks really good.
Never expected to be excited to watch a Transformers spin off but here we are.

By n8 dogg Go To PostI’ve decided the only film close in quality to Step Brothers is Popstar: Never Stop Never StoppingStill think Popstar is an underrated gem.
Watched it for the second time tonight and laughed almost non-stop. The Bin Laden song actually made my stomach hurt.
Tom Hardy says that his favourite scenes from Venom were cut and that they left 40 minutes of dark and twisted comedy on the editing floor.
This is going to be a disaster.

anywan seen that latest saulnier film on netflix
hold the dark
i liked the shapeless, mysterious ambiguity of blair's script and it feels more spacey than the tort, striped down brutality of green room n blue ruin but didn't feel the certainly impressive individual elements (there is a crackin shoot out) coalesced into a tasty cinematic stew.
sadly my least favourite saulnier film; never came together for me.

Saw a film trailer for Defoe as Van Gogh, looks intense, then I read the comments and someone posted "You know, I'm something of a painter myself." Now I can't stop laughing about it.

As a skate video fan, Mind The Gap is really really disappointing
Instead of making a focused, DIY, rough around the edges documentary like a skateboarding documentary should be... it's Boyhood with skateboarding

Exorcist III deserves more love, it's a pretty great sequel.
Speaking of horror sequels, saw Unfriended : Dark Web.
It was alright. Despite keeping the same formula as the first one, the story is different enough.
I was kind of shocked they went with a swatting incident to kill one of the characters.
Gone is the supernatural angle and the whole thing is almost believable. There's a good idea in this movie and a better execution would push it into something special.
Still, not a bad way to spend 90 minutes if you don't mind watching the action occuring in a computer screen.

By diehard Go To PostSo in a surprise to nobody, "Venom" doesn't look to be very good.In a surprise to everyone, Into The Spiderverse looks pretty good.
fucking Sony
fucking Sony
What do you expect when Tom Hardy was asked about what his favourites parts were, it was in the 40 minutes that they cut from the movie.

This looks so good
I fucking hate the way it’s animated. Fake looking stop motion makes it look like it’s missing frames when they’re they’re talking
By LFMartins86 Go To PostHoly shit. Carrell as Rumsfeld looks dead on.
This going to be great.
By DY_nasty Go To Posthow does amy adams keep getting workThis is what I wanna know. She must be extremely easy to work with bc it can’t think of anything else
By n8 dogg Go To PostAmy Adams is fuckin great.great at what
I think Amy Adams is fine, but acting is so subjective that if you aren't going at somebody like Daniel Day Lewis i probably won't argue with you.
By alt sy Go To PostDDL is overrated. Joaquin Phoenix has been far better.
And I thought I was contrarian.
By Random Ass Username Go To PostI'd just take Rosemund Pike over Amy Adams. She peaked like 10 years ago, in that film with Gosling. Pass.
Ant-Man & The Wasp was so forgettable. Easily on the lower end of Marvel films. The villains are weak, almost everything about Janet doesn't make sense or isn't explained and they turned Scott into an idiot who can't do anything. They should have just called it The Wasp as she is the focus of the film and the best thing about it. Michael Pena is still so funny.
By alt sy Go To Post#ArrogantMarvel was feeling themselves when they decided to give Ant Man a movie.
Ant Man was one of the very first films mentioned when they decided to make the MCU. I am just amazed it took them so long.
First one was good, but the second one felt like Marvel were focused on Infinity.
