The individual that kept that from happening got rewarded by another corrupt politician that you are against.Again you're either incredibly dense or stupid. It doesn't matter who it is, corruption infects different countries in different ways. In America lobbying and corporate political donations is a form of bribing in America that corrupts both sides. it might be legal, but it often leads to bribes and thus laws have to be put in place in order to stop it. Unfortunately that's how politics are done here, and it's reflected in what gets prioritized. I'm no expert in Brazilian politics but from my understanding, it was a case where nothing really could be done unless there was some grease to make the wheels turn. It was common place and it was only when the political opportunity arose for his opponents to take advantage of this anti corruption resentment. It's not about "this guy vs that guy", Bolsonaro is a legitimate fascist that makes Trump's statements tame in comparison. Personally my biggest concern as a person beside the people who are getting targeted as political enemies and undesirables is the fact that 60% of the amazon is in Brazil, which is the largest carbon sink and now he's going to open it up for businesses to exploit. Have fun breathing while you still can.
