Taylor Swift has used her platform to endorse two Democrats in Tennessee, whereas Kanye plans on going back to Chicago to stan for Trump.
What a turnaround.
What a turnaround.
The irony. Just a few years ago Taylor Swift was heralded as the peak Aryan female form. Glad she's planting a flag, but I'm more looking forward to watching her fans cannibalize each other.
Taylor Swift, another coastal elite transplant telling real honest Americans how to live their lives, my column.

Trump won Indiana by 19 points in 2016...
You wouldn't need Joe Donnelly if you had North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Colorado etc., but you don't, so there you go.
I'm just saying that maybe bending towards the middle prooooobably ain't the best strategy when the general platform is "we're better than those guys". Kinda looks shit when you beg for votes on principles one way then want that co-sign from people that blatantly don't fuck with you to begin with.
Trifling as fuck.
Trifling as fuck.
But that's not the strategy at a national level? Indiana doesn't have enough democrats to make for a competitive partisan race. I don't see how Joe Donnelly affects the way the party runs its campaigns in Colorado or Virginia or whatever.
You have two camps, one that positions themselves as the "adults in the room" and the other is centering on progressive causes like labor and healthcare. And as always, it comes down to the primaries. Joe Donnelly's Senate campaign is not going to tell us anything about who out of those two might win out.

The consistent inconsistency is kind of an open theme here that happens at literally every level tho...
Speaking of voting, early vote starts next week in North Carolina. I'm in a solid blue district in the House, no Senate seats are up this year, not the governorship, etc., but there's still quite a few ballot initiatives and local races to decide.
Going to pull that lever, coffee in hand.
