By Vivalapizza Go To PostI hope Mou is serious when he says we're signing 2 players in the summer - a CM and RB.
It would suggest some of the players on loan are returning to be a part of the squad.
That's it? I can't get my Muppet nuts off to that
By Vivalapizza Go To PostI hope Mou is serious when he says we're signing 2 players in the summer - a CM and RB.They have zappacosta and Moses as RB even Azpi can play there they don't need RB And they have Kante Baka Fab Drinkwater and Barkley for middle 3 I doubt they will sign cm ... Their squad is complete.. they just need a back up lb and a better first choice striker.

I am drunk.... I thought I were talking abt Chelsea.
Fodu could cover at RB but then we don't know how Mou views his position.
Also hope AP44 comes back. Think he could work better in the 433 as one of the mids alongside Pogba and Matic.

Mourinho on recalling Andreas Pereira: “No, no. Pereira is happy. My concern is that he is playing in a position that doesn’t exist at Manchester United, we play a different system but the experience he is having at a big club is amazing.”
Think he's been playing on the wings

United definitely need more than 2 new players in the summer - even with the returning loanees - but I honestly don't want to think about it right now. I'll shelve that headache for another few months.
By domino Go To PostThat's it? I can't get my Muppet nuts off to thatYeah this is concerning but don't worry.
2 signings we plan for...the 2 we actually need.
Then in August when agents start calling Woody up and ask him if he's got a spare £100m...oh shit son.

When did he say that?
Seen something saying Sanchez is being signed in place of Griez/Ozil.
By Laboured Go To PostWhen did he say that?He said something about probably doing 3 transfers in the summer but needing to do 2 if we one now.

Seems about right to me. I think we need a CM who can play alongside Matic with a bit more physicality so we have the option of releasing Pogba...and a fullback.
Other than that the squad is fine and players are developing. I want to see Bailly/Lindelof grow at CB and same with the younger attacking players.
I would also let Mata go and get Ozil on a free. Huge upgrade. Be disappointed if we don't pursue that.
Think we'd still need a forward even with Sanchez, but depending on where he plays it could be anything from a proper winger to a CF. CM and RB are definitely the priorities, and to cover players leaving. I think TFM and AP could have a role, but hard to see Tuanzebe or even McTominay featuring more than this season.
Francis is right tho. Maybe a thought experiment for like March or April.

I do hope Mata signs a new deal. He's an important squad player to have and I don't think he'd mind starting/playing less too much.
United legend, in my eyes.

Tuanzebe should go on loan next season - he just needs minutes for now.
TFM defo needs to come back and basically fill Darmian's role when he goes back to Serie B.
AP will be sold, it's very sad but it's gonna happen.

Yeah he'll cost more in wages and stuff but imagine having Martial, Rashford, Sanchez, Ozil and DAB PRINCE as the AM options. Delicious.

Blind (and Darmian) can do one, though. Proper deadweight.
The one thing about United's transfer policy you can say with certainty is there is no plan.
Whichever unsettled 'elite' player post-World Cup is ours.

Straight swap Old Trafford + £10m for Messi after he loses his 4th final in a row.
By Scum Go To PostMata to Arsenal. Ozil in.
Getting angry at the thought of not spending on the RW again, and the strange assumption that Lingard’s form will continue.
By ATTICUS H Go To PostDzeko surely would have to be first choice over Alvaro, right? If they don't play them both ofc.
A very soon to be 32 year old target man? Certainly not for long.
By inky Go To Post"dramatic"Hahaha fucking sport journalists.
eat a dick
So we're just letting him go for £25m with no swap and just hoping that United stick to their word and sell us Mkhitaryan for the same amount. This is going to go well ....

Yeah, two separate deals now rather than a swap.
My lawyer senses are screaming why was this not done in the first place. The words ‘subject to’ come to mind.

Contractually contingent swaps maybe. But practical swaps I think will happen more.
Like Lukaku and Roon.
By Francis Go To PostAleix Vidal is reportedly heading back to Sevilla.
Lukewarm signing for Barça.
Genuinely thought he’d be fantastic.

God I hope the rumor is true that Zorc is on his way to London tomorrow.
While the team played in Berlin, that cunt Auba was in a soccer hall playing with some friends.
By Laboured Go To PostGenuinely thought he’d be fantastic.
Thought so too since he was pretty damn good when he was playing for Sevilla.
Him and Turan, what a waste of signings they were in the end.

Also thinking about speed of transfers. They’re becoming so complex. I’m astonished English clubs have fucked themselves by reducing the summer window. Astonishingly Brexit.
By Laboured Go To PostAlso thinking about speed of transfers. They’re becoming so complex. I’m astonished English clubs have fucked themselves by reducing the summer window. Astonishingly Brexit.I can understand both sides. For sure transfers are getting more complex, especially those that got seperate rights, both for transferrights and other stuff like picturerights and all that bullshit.
However, you'll have to understand some managers that want to get their shit done early and not bother with transfer requests and clubs making offers when you're already at the start of the season. Basically destroys alot of your already done work, means alot of more work when you want a replacement and getting a replacement integrated, is also pretty time consuming. Alot of coaches want to do this as early as they can.
Just watched a bit of the game.
Good old VAR not even bothering, neither did the ref.
Meanwhile the same ref gave a pen for this during Bayern - Wolfsburg this year :

Like, Lewa falls because there's a fucking leg of the wolfsburg players betweent his legsEh, it's Lewa who trips over the guy's supporting leg. You can argue it's "damage procured", as Lewa is still in control of the ball, but it's not something worth getting mad over, whatever the call.
By Elchele Go To Postlol you really can't see the key difference between one and the other? Like, Lewa falls because there's a fucking leg of the wolfsburg players betweent his legsWhat Zabo said.
Lustenberger was holding Yarmolenko, otherwise he would have had a great option to score a goal.
Point is, the ref is a disgrace and VAR is a disgrace for not bothering.
