By reilo Go To PostSketch of a new upcoming small Kia SUV interior:Looks like every other interior? Literally thought Mazda when I first saw this lol.
BMW should sue lol. That's fucking blatant.
Starting to see the new 330i more and more in person these days and they are much better looking in person than in pictures. They also look much improved and sharper from the base F80 when they got first introduced.
It makes me super hopeful that the 4-series and M4 is going to be a stunner.

Basically a mini 5 at this point.

what
That is one awful press/marketing video. Holy crap. The entire concept of the video is a mish-mash of ridiculous scenarios with no context. And to top it off, the audio track goes from being a random poppy-electro song to...dub step? Nice to be back in 2010.
As far as the car itself, I'm genuinely surprised at how many people didn't know the 1-series would be FWD. The X2 is FWD based (AWD optional) and the 1-series sits on the same Mini Cooper platform as the X2. But honestly, I suspect this'll be a great car. My mom has an X2 and it's a terrific car, tons of fun and feels a lot like an older BMW should. It's especially nimble too.
Isn't X1 their best selling car?
It might not be for us but that's a hot hatch if I've ever seen one. Terrible video though.

I just can't get into the new Supra. I just don't like the way it looks. It looks supremely dated, like a mid-00s design.
I've come around on the new Supra a lot. I just want to see it with a manual.
Pretty sure it's still the X3 that's the bread and butter right now.

the new M8's upgrades boost that output to a grand total of 600 hp. Competition models gain extra oomph, with 617 horsepower. Same amount of twist, but it comes on a shade earlier.
The resulting performance yields a 0-60 time of just 3.1 seconds for the M8 Coupe, and 3 seconds flat for the Competition model. The convertible, with its slightly heavier weight from its folding roof mechanisms, takes 3.2 seconds, while the M8 Competition convertible can make the sprint in the same time as the standard M8 Coupe.oh my
The M8's upgrades also add up under the skin. Both the standard M8 and M8 Competition benefit from larger brakes, larger and lighter wheels, and beefier tires to cope with the extra power and performance. Engineers tweaked the transmission and M xDrive for improved performance, faster shifting and better response. The M8s also benefit from an upgraded intelligent Active M rear differential to make the most of the extra power. And similarly to the system found in the F90 M5, the M8 in all forms can disable its all-wheel drive system to become rear-wheel drive only at the touch of a button, in the event some sideways hooning is in demand.
I'm not impressed. It's the same motor as the 850i with the boost dialed up. There's hardly any body differentiation like an M-car should have. Example: the difference in fender flare width between a regular 3-series and an M3. It's got quad tips, yay. Some bumper accents, different side skirts, and minor touches. But not much about this car says M. It's beyond understated, and it's really boring. I can't get over how narrow it looks from the rear angle.

smh
^ ^ ^ Hahahaha
The differences are 30HP, handling, and some little visual cues here and there. Torque stays the same, because it's the same motor just with added boost.
Think of it as a performance package more than anything. Confusing as shit.

Terrible. The Mercedes/BMW brand dilution is strong.
Their product dilution is almost as insane as their engineering, because woooow
That's a 4-cyl 2.0, is it not? Nuts
Though we have only seen glimpses of the cars, the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, GLA 45 and A 45's new engine has been fully revealed, and is starting production. It will be available in two versions, a base one with 382 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, and an S version making 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.wut

So, I was away from the Cayman for three weeks and coming back to it is so damn amazing. I love driving this car.
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostOrdered new wheels for the Z and the rears just came in today. :)
Pics?

Nice. Can't wait to see it on your Z
Maaan, the Cayman 718 GT4 is the one to get, fuck. They actually did put in a 4.0L H6 into it, baby, just like the car gods always wanted.
That shit only gonna go up in value, le sigh ;_;
The 718 Cayman GT4 starts at $100,450, including the $1,250 delivery charge.😭

Yeah, time to start trolling for last gen GT4s. That new one looks stupid awesome though, and if I had that kind of cash laying around I'd buy it posthaste
I mean it's 45k more not exactly something to be embarrassed of. Kibner is good.
The spyder version looks stupendous.

Yeah, unless you're a semi pro track rat you don't need a GT4 to have a stupid amount of fun in your Cayman. The base cars are very capable.
I think I might actually want the Boxster Spyder a bit more, strangely enough.

I love my Cayman and still smile every time I sit in it, even six months later. It has morphed into my daily driver because it is just that much more fun to drive in nearly every situation and the fuel efficiency ain't bad, either. According to the computer, I get 30 MPG over the 6,500 or so miles I've driven it.

We're doing too much.
I love it
By NinjaFridge Go To PostWould be embarrassed if I bought a Cayman in the last year tbh. Or an F-type.
F-Type is a 911 competitor, and also not a track car. This doesn't affect any Jaguar owner.
Standard Cayman is a daily driver and costs $45,000 less. It's not like they updated the standard Cayman with a nice 6-pot and dropped the 4-cylinder to make people regret not waiting. Again, there are no overlaps here. Nobody owning any of those cars would be embarrassed or upset.
The only people who could potentially be upset would be someone who JUST bought a low mileage 981 GT4 for $100K.

Looks like what we'd imagine Year 2050 EVs to look like. I love it. Porsche has been doing such a great job with their designs the past decade.
I got to experience my friend's Porsche GT3RS yesterday!
I was thoroughly impressed and almost blown away. It's an amazing vehicle, and you can even use it for daily driving. He tracks his too. I always knew they sounded great, but in person and inside the cabin, what an absolutely amazing shriek. It doesn't even sound like it has 6 cylinders, sounds like there are 10. Its body is absolutely flat no matter how you toss it around. And the build quality is probably what impressed me the most, not a damn rattle anywhere.
