SYNOPSIS
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

I hope the movie turns out decent so people can stop criticizing Snyder, the man has had a nightmare of a year.

It’s nuts man. I don’t think I have ever seen people attack a filmmaker like they do Snyder
I am so pumped for Wednesday, despite hating anything Zack Synder has made. Justice League looks like a blast!
Initial media reactions are out and the consensus seems to be that it has many flaws but it's a fun ride. The heroes are great, the villain is terrible and the narrative could have been better.
By Apollo Go To PostSeeing it Tuesday. So it's a Marvel movie?
But yeah all my friends said it’s good but not great
I'm shocked this isn't terrible. Second time this year where I've been completely off base (also expected Rime to be a terrible game)
By LFMartins86 Go To PostI hope the movie turns out decent so people can stop criticizing Snyder, the man has had a nightmare of a year.I've basically hated every movie he's made. Also, I've heard there is a lot of Whedon fixing after the fact.
Snyder stepped down early this year.
WB spent an additional $25-million on reshoots.
Whedon also cut about 50mins from original run time.
heck, even Ben Affleck praised Whedon for reshaping the film.
so yeah, gonna be a decent flick.

This isn't true. The studio told Snyder it had to be 2 hours or around there back when BvS was getting bad reviews and that's when Geoff and the other dude rewrote the movie with Snyder.
By lemniscate Go To PostAlso, I've heard there is a lot of Whedon fixing after the fact.
Pretty much every report on the movie is saying it's still Snyder's baby with a little bit of help from Whedon. People forget that Snyder gave Whedon the outline for the reshoots and was planning on doing it himself before his daughter killer herself.
it was listed at 170-minutes on IMDB initially this year.
and I didn't recall WB nor Snyder denying the claims.
I can't imagine the amount of mental anguish watching a 2hr50m Snyder film.
but who gives a shit,
I see it as mostly Whedon film now and hopefully most of Snyder's taint is gone.

LOL Whedon himself called it a Snyder movie. They hardly even touched the action.
The movie's official running time was never known until a few weeks ago because that stuff isn't locked until the film earns its rating. IMDB can't know a run time when a movie is still being edited.
never said it was a locked edit.
imdb info can change information.
not like IMDB came up with that 170m info on their own, they get it from WB.
my theory, that long ass current cut wasn't cutting it.
like I said,
this is nothing burger. believe what you want. this is hardly worth discussing.
Joss Whedon saves the day again.

I thought Momoa as Aquabro was unbearable in all the trailers I hope he's not a running catchphrase through the complete movie. Not really a fan of that surfer dude thing.
I didn't know Whedon was responsible for Affleck staying in shape between shoots or Momoa's hair and makeup.

Do you no see it that the framing and lighting is different? Director’s are responsible for the set. If something is off they should catch it.
And yes they should notice the hair and make up.
Honest to GOD, this delaying review scores on movies is shit and don't even use RT. And a live stream over the score being revealed is LOL worthy.

It's 48%.
Might be one of those rare occasions where the Metacritic score (51 right now) could end up higher than the RT.
jesus this movie is turning into a mess.
compared to the smooth sailing of Thor ragnarok 2 weeks ago it's like an alternate dimension.

By s y Go To PostI just want to know of superman is dead or notThe CGI on his mustache is a bigger concern
By Kill Your Masters Go To PostAnother meh-to-garbage movie from the DCEU? Just Flashpoint this mess already.
Nah, by the end of the movie they're the characters people want them to be and the world is lighter less heavy
The mental gymnastics I'm seeing on defending this movies reception are mind boggling. Frustrating to watch. I want good DC movies but it seems the hardcore fans are fine with a mediocre to bad output.
MoS still the best DCEU movie

All I can say is that the criticism "it's not as good as Wonder Woman" condemns this movie more than I ever possibly could.
Wonder Woman did three good things:
1) it hired a female director
2) its lead is quite charming
3) its lead character isnt a miserable cunt
Apart from that its just as tedious and haphazard as MoS, and is even lacking in the ridiculous portentousness of BvS.

I'll watch it on Netflix or something then.
By n8 dogg Go To PostWonder Woman did three good things:Yes. First half of the movie was good. Then it got dragged on so badly and the final boss fight looked like something out of an entirely different movie.

I sort or remember rumors of WB wanting to retool this movie and give it some more time when bvs was getting savaged. They decided to push forward quickly and you get that.
Movie was alright, not total shit
You guys should really have moviepass to watch movies every week or every other weekend

By LFMartins86 Go To PostMovie could open below 100M$ in the US, this would be absolutely awful for WB.
I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
As much as I dislike DC's recent movie output, at least they are different than generic Marvel movie sitcom #33.
By Splatt Go To PostI don't know if that's a good or bad thing. They need stability. JL hasn't been well received but people seem to like the characters.
As much as I dislike DC's recent movie output, at least they are different than generic Marvel movie sitcom #33.
They have a solid bunch of directors for Aquaman, Shazam, Batman and Wonder Woman. They need to build off from that but they seem to be heading in a wrong path with Flash.
Doing Flashpoint so early isn't a good idea but it will fix one of their biggest problems right now, recasting Affleck.
I don't want them to become a bootleg Marvel who have perfected the art of doing incredibly mediocre crowd pleasures.
I am more likely to re-watch the mess that his Batman vs Superman than Age Of Ultron, Civil War or Homecoming.
By Splatt Go To PostI don't know if that's a good or bad thing.I believe that's exactly the problem.

WB wants to emulate Marvel, but also kinda not and things turned out the way they did. They are stuck in some sort of limbo with no real direction. They rushed it completely chasing the Marvel money but you can't build a strong foundation by rushing through important parts. I just don't see any vision in the DCEU apart from WB suits trying to figure out how to make Avengers money.
I prefer a safe crowd pleaser over something that is sort of experimental but turns out worse than the worst Marvel movies.
Releasing the ensemble movie before letting the rest of the cast get their own movies is still a weird move.

No it’s not.
Oh and this movie would be an average Marvel film. Thor 2 is still the bench mark for bad comic book movies.

I mean, it's not even as bad as Thor 1 or Captain America 1.
But nothing is as bad as MoS, SS and BvS. If evil is banal then they are the fucking Nazi party of cinema.

I’d watch any of those over the second Thor. Especially MoS and the BvS UC
